Brightview Columbus East Addiction Treatment Center's Online Review Report Card

I just transferred to this BrightView today from the one in Newark and I can say with assurance that this is the best place out of the two, the workers here are so caring and do everything within them to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible. I’ve been clean for 3 months now and it feels so good to have people working here who actually care and don’t make me feel down about myself. If you’re looking for the best recovery place in Central Ohio, this is it!

I am 3 years clean, and have been seeking treatment through Brightview East for about 4 months now. The staff obviously cares about each patient. You get what you give here that is for sure. When you are respectful they are also. They will do just about anything to make sure that you are taken care of by the end of the day. So staff wise it's a great place for addiction. Group is just like any group. There is drama, laughs, tears, and "different" personalities. They become like family though. My experience altogether.... is different each time that I have come. Some days I can be in and out in about 2 hours. That is including; medical, counseling, and filling my prescription. Other days I can be there for 4 hours because of bad communication, and unorganized procedures. The process of getting your medication is the same way. Some days it's easy and other days it's as if the staff have to jump through hoops to get your prescription filled. On days that you are scheduled with Brightview just clear your schedule and do NOT be in a hurry to leave. I wish I could say more positive things.

I have mixed feelings. Majority of the time I love it here. There's alot of drama behind closed doors. I'm actively attending meetings twice a week and the staff really does care. They are involved in their patients lives and care about the wellbeing of the patient's. However alot of the time organization is out the window. But for the most part I've enjoyed my experience. The only reason I gave it 3 stars which in my opinion is lower than it should be. Due to the drama between patients and due to the "secrets among staff and alot of side playing. ( Like favoritism ) but it's not too bad. Your going to get that anywhere you go in this world. I will probably get reprimanded in some sort of way for saying what I'm about to say, but I get treated better than some patients. Almost as if I'm one of their friends compared to other patients that strictly get treated as patients and nothing more. Not in a bad way. I think bonding and relationships are a valuable thing in recovery. If I somehow get treated differently after I post this review I will be sure to post about it. But honestly I don't see that happening. Like I said overall it's a pretty great facility. Depending on how picky you are and how your attitude is towards your recovery and towards other patients and staff it dictates your but like I sad My experience has been phenomenal. But like I said I'm writing this strictly for informational purposes for those who want to know about brightview east. And from a strictly non-biased perspective. If I could sum it up in a simple 1-3 sentences... Brightview east is a very loving and caring facility with limited staff but everyone is extremely good at their job. Accasional mistakes on schedule and even fewer mistakes with medicine as they are an on-site med facility. This place has saved 100x more people's lives than it has harmed. If your looking to be judged and feel lower than people, this is not that sort of place. Understanding , beautiful people who care about the wellbeing

I started BV East about 3 months ago. I was unhappy with the long intake process. 14 hrs between two days. Very unorganized. I did enjoy the people in the beginning. Then staff started leaving. Mgmt staff didn't handle it correctly. I felt we weren't being heard as a group. The thing that bothered me most was they started not letting people in group if they were over 10 mins late. What if they're nervous about coming and just worked up the nerve to go in. Just don't agree it's best for those in recovery. Seems like they're more about the money.

I continue to be impressed with the level of professionalism that is consistently demonstrated by the staff at the East Side Center. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help their colleagues and clients.

It is such a joy to wake up everyday and want to come to work. Working at Brightview has been such a learning experience, it has helped me grow professionally and broaden my aspects on life as a whole. I enjoy seeing all of our patients everyday, they make what we do enjoyable! Everyone that I work with really shows a passion for their patients and what they do at Brightview.

Before working at Brightview East I had worked for another MAT operation that I absolutely loved, and I never thought I would find another that I would love as much!! I have found my new family with Brightview East. I think that when you walk in the doors at Brightview you are welcomed with open compassionate hearts. We truly care about each individual that walks through the door. We do our best to go above for each individual patient, and each team member. We recognize the good work with our team, and help to educate and grow on our mistakes. I love the way I’m treated as a person and co-worker, and love the open communication that we have. If I have a problem I never feel that I can’t go to my supervisor, and be able to get something worked out. I love their statement of “Serving People, Saving Lives” BRIGHTVIEW I feel they truly live by this statement, with everything they have to offer the patients. (Medical, Counseling, Group Therapy, Case Management) They offer competitive wages, community perks, PTO, 401K, and more!! This is a growing company, with expansion in other states. A company that likes to promote with in the company and help each other to be their best.

three months and now and this is the best facility I’ve been to in six years I’ve maybe attended seven others, everyone’s great and cheerful from my favorite receptionist Edyth to the doctors and counselors. It’s a great upstanding place if you’re really trying to get clean.

I love these people here they really have saved my life. I love everyone here they really do care and they are not like other Recovery Centers! Please give them a try and become a better you :) you can do I!!

The facility is very nice and clean!
