List of Christopher Brown's Reviews
Has been my family doctor for years. Can't imagine going anywhere else.
Dr. Chris Brown has been our primary care physician for over 20 yrs. I can not begin to explain our gratitude towards him! He has always taken his time in the office with us, never once made us feel rushed or that he wasn’t concerned for any of our needs. By far the BEST Dr. and I would highly recommend him to EVERYONE!
I first made an appointment with Dr. Brown when I had acute pain and stiffness with my right hip and psoas, where repeated visits with my regular chiropractor and deep tissue/Rolf-style bodyworker weren't helping. I honestly didn't know anything about osteopathy before, but now I understand how there are many different types of practitioners and styles. It's pretty amazing how subtle yet powerful osteopathy can be. My acute issue was resolved after one visit, I'm not even kidding! I went for a walk on the beach the next day and was amazed at how open and fluid my body felt. The tightness and pain from my acute issue were truly gone, and my chronic tightness in my shoulders and neck from slight scoliosis also felt at ease. I assume Dr. Brown customizes his treatment based on your specific issue, but I can't recommend him enough. It's also fascinating how little our mainstream society even knows about the subtle healing powers of osteopathy. Totally recommend!
"Doctor Brown is the very best--as an osteopath, his hands, energy and breath create an amazing healing field. I am a highly sensitive person and have to be very careful about who can bring healing to my body. He's that incredible one.My daughter is a trained osteopath and through her, I have met and been a patient of the "best" osteopaths in the field. For me and my body, Dr. Chris is the best of them all.For several years, he lived and practiced in the Bay area. He now travels back to Northern Ca. once a month. With each of my monthly visits, I tell him, of my fantasy to travel to Santa Monica for a 6 week visit so he could bring his incredible healing to my body mind and soul once or twice a week. After having had healing sessions with Dr. Brown for almost 5 years in Marin County, when Covid 19 set in, I began having sessions with him on Face Time. First talking with him -he listens deeply and with great sensitivity-- sharing all the aches and pains on every level of my now 80 year old body. Then I recline, and he begins a distant energy healing process which is surprisingly powerful. Not quite as fabulous as hands -on in person, but nevertheless, deeply healing and relaxing.Doctor Chris is the best.
Dr. Brown is an incredible osteopath and healer! He pours his heart and soul into his work.I started out bringing my daughter to Dr. Brown, and after seeing her substantial improvement, I started seeing him as well.He is an integral part of Santa Monica's healing community, and should be at the top of anyone's list to see.I would run, not walk, to see this amazing Doctor.
All four of the members of our family have worked with Dr Brown for issues ranging from general tuning up, to back pain, to migraines. We have all noted and appreciated Dr Brown's intuitive and gentle but impactful approach to guiding our bodies toward alignment and healing. He seems equally comfortable with our kids as with us. Additionally, his experience having worked in an emergency room offers him a breadth of perspective not always typical among his peers. We appreciate his non-alarmist but thorough and balanced perspective and feel we are very lucky to be in such good hands. We willingly adjust our family schedules to take advantage of any availability he has!
Chris Brown is an excellent surgeon. He is very thorough and helpful and really knows his craft. Any bad rating on his profile is out there by Dr Simon Braham who is not a genuine person. He goes out partying with young kids, taking drugs and stuffs up his operations. Then takes out intervention orders against his patients to stop them from complaining to AHPRA about him. He even takes one out on his very young boyfriends. The man is dangerous and always will be. Do yourself a favour and if you don’t like Chris Brown or are concerned. Go anywhere other than the Masada for a consult.
Dr. Brown has helped my family with individualized treatments, involving osteopathy in the cranial field and other approaches. He is a fantastic medical professional who's positive character overshadows his incredible abilities. Being a Father he has a great disposition with all ages.I highly suggest Dr Brown for serious inquiries, only looking for the Best Osteopathic Physician in Santa Monica & probably Los Angeles.
Chris is a good octor but his nurse Tammy is slow and not very pleasant. My poor 4 month old laid there for 45 minutes screaming while waiting for her shots and I barely got a sorry. They stood out at the desk talking after having everything ready and made me wait with a tired angry baby!
We took our son (5 months) to Dr. Brown and it was a complete waste of money. Dr. Brown wasn't very empathic for our son and unfortunately our son did not respond to the treatment at all. We have seen a different osteopath a few weeks after seeing Dr. Brown and this Doctor put a minor pressure on my son's vertebra in order to get them back into place. Our son responded amazingly to the treatment of the other osteopath we have seen and his well-being improved right away.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
