Scott Puckett's Online Review Report Card

My better-half went to have a broken tooth removed. People were very nice, however, absolutely zero post-op personal instruction!! Just a sheet of paper and scripts. Nothing about when to remove gauze and how often to repack!. I called, but there is no way to speak to a real person, just leave a message and they will get back! Well, that didn’t happen until the next day! I have before and after pictures and it is obvious she has injuries to her mouth and tongue. She was sore still a week later, missed a weeks work! NOT a pleasant experience at all. Plus you pay 100% up front, no insurance contact, just wait to see if they pay anything. Seems like a “quick-in, quick-out” service. My dentist would never give that kind of dis-service. My dentist recommended Dr. Puckett to me also, but I will never go there and I am reporting this back to our dentist.

I went to see Dr. Puckett as a last resource because other doctors could not figure out the problem I was having with recurrent canker sores. He listen...actually listened and asked questions. He didn't pass it off as no big deal. He gave me medicine that worked!!! I had dealt with this for over 6 months. He was so kind and his staff was as well. I highly recommend this doctor!

Amazing had two teeth extracted. No pain healed in two days. Outstanding service . I was in and out in 20 minutes. I have ptsd they were great with me. I highly recommend.

Dr. Puckett was great! His office manager Patty is a different story. Patty is rude, condescending and very unprofessional! When we contacted our dentist office (Dr. Leisa Langston) we were told by her staff that they hear a lot of complaints about Wilmington Oral Surgery’s office staff and how unprofessional they are. We will be taking our business to Dr. Wilcox in Cincinnati. They have been very professional and courteous.

Dr. Puckett and his staff are the best for people who have dental anxiety. The office is up to date , clean and comfortable. The whole team environment is lighthearted , compassionate and competent. My oral surgeon for life!!

Dr. Puckett speaks to his patient so they understand everything he will do, or may have to do, during surgery. He is a very skilled surgeon. He is also extremely compassionate & concerned that his patient will experience the least amount of pain possible. My surgeries involved total removal of my remaining teeth with immediate plate insertions. The upper was fine. The lower was very difficult post-op pain-wise, but he did not hesitate to prescribe a more powerful pain med. 100% satisfied!

This oral surgeon was very kind with a great bedside manner. He had a great knowledge base and spent time answering all my questions. He was so helpful and the staff was so welcoming I would definitely recommend him for all your oral surgery needs.

I have had multiple surgeries by Dr. Puckett and his staff and I must say that I would recommend him for extensive extractions and surgery. His staff was wonderful and as well as him. I had minimal pain with his procedures. No complaints here!
