Deborah Bartholomew's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient forcibly for the past 4 years. This is the coldest most callous Dr around for my sensitive areas. She is at least 30 minutes or more late every single time. She does not respect me as a patient and treats me very harshly. She forces me to have med students present even though I keep telling her I don't feel comfortable, she runs unnecessary procedures on me bc she put me in her study and will not allow other obgyns to see me. I did not give consent to be a part of her study and since she has been cutting into me every year has found absolutely nothing and has no reason to run these labs. I hate her as a doctor and I want someone else.

She delivered my first born 6 years ago. I was induced a week early (come to find out because she was leaving on vacation). I actively pushed for 4.5 hrs. Nurse told me they usually consider c-sections at 1.5 hrs. Bartholomew kept coming in saying I was strong and could handle it. I was so exhausted I was passing out and had to be woken up to push. I have a variety of health issues because of that experience, as well as my son. As a first time mom at the time, I trusted her to do what was the best thing for me and was very much let down.

The experience was not genuine and pleasant. Dr. Bartholomew lacks respect for patients. Rushes appointment and does not seem very open to listening.

Not a nice person at all. Very cold. Long wait times would be ok if she was good at what she does, but she doesn't even look you in the eye when you're talking to her. GYN is a very private matter...one that you need to be on your side. Everything that I asked was negated by her. I don't recommend.

Dr. Bartholomew has been wonderful and so helpful treating me. Staff are nice also.

First doctor I’ve been to that truly has lack of any genuine care for her patients. I became pregnant through IVF, and was given direction from my IVF specialist to check my thyroid monthly to ensure proper levels, ensuring the safety of my baby and pregnancy. Dr. Bartholomew insisted I didn’t need to get it checked, which is actually really dangerous. Luckily I’m moving and easily have the opportunity to seek care from a trusted OBGYN. She was usually 30-45 minutes late, rushed, didn’t ask how I was doing, and made comments that didn’t make sense and caused a lot of anxiety.

This Dr. has horrible bedside manner, in reading the reviews I guess it doesn't matter your race or does it? She should not be terrorizing any more patients ever again! I'm a disabled Marine Vet and referred to her vulvar clinic, she had no regard rushed me to get undressed, she drilled, debated, and had no patience with me when I miss-spoke only because was confused. I felt like I was being assaulted all over again, I shut down, I was alone she just treated me like i was crazy and offered no help, no solutions just ultimatums, she was hard and stern, the blood in her veins was like ice. it was a horrible experience and I'll never forget. I refused to see her. A year or so later I received a referral by another doctor to the same clinic different doctor Kelly Tyler for the same thing. She refuses to see me because Dr. Bartholomew is her partner. I may have moved on from this exp. if I had never heard her name again. Maybe will (EMDR-PTSD) help. OSU and Dr. Kelly Tyler shame on you!!

I made it clear from my first appointment that I was not comfortable getting the Covid vaccine while pregnant, yet every appointment she pushed and pushed in a rude manner, it was all she was talking about as I heard my baby’s heartbeat for the first time after four years of infertility. Terrible bedside manner.

I went for my first appointment and doctor was in a hurry and didn’t take time with me. The staff was amazing. She gave me a diagnosis but told me she was to busy to treat me. That I needed to see a dermatologist. I did and they did a biopsy which showed that I did not have what dr bartholmew said. I would not go to her. I only gave a 1 star because of her staff

Don't waste your time. She's don't care much about anything.
