Under the restrictive circumstances no one is allowed into the hospital. Therefore, there needs to be a frequent & open line of communication relating to the health & well being of a loved one. I am thoroughly disgusted with the disregard to my requests for a phone call. These hospitalists bill patients by sticking their head in the room--drive by care. If you are unable to be present & advocate for your loved one you really don't know what's going on. It's very frustrating.
