The staff and program at Windhaven far exceeded my expectations of what a sober living environment could offer. In the most loving, yet firm way, I was propeled by staff and housemates into a higher realm of self-awareness and self-worth. I discovered strengths and weaknesses in my character and in how I relate to others... things I'd never even pondered prior to my stay. In the program, I dove deeper than my addiction, down to the core of who I am, and have constructed a solid foundation upon which I can grow and thrive. My life has a higher meaning. I'm now in a position to give back by helping others move away from the physical and emotional death-sentence of addiction towards the freedom and fullness of life in recovery. I am forever grateful to Windhaven.

I would not recommend as a parent. Expensive and there are other places in Dallas for your daughters that have better checks and balances for your loved one. Feel free to reach out to me (waited 18 months to post this). Also make sure you ask for everything in writing.

When I first arrived at Windhaven I had no idea what direction my life was heading, or even where I wanted it to go. During my stay, the staff encouraged me in recovery and gave me so many chances to grow. The program wasn’t easy for me and there were times I didn’t think I would make it through. Luckily, the friends I made there and the amazing staff loved me until I learned how to love myself. They taught me what it means to be a recovered woman. Without their guidance, I wouldn’t have the amazing life I do today. The foundation they helped me build in my life allowed me to recently celebrate 3 years sober! I will always be grateful for the second chance at life I found at Windhaven.

I got high with everyone in this house. Also, the house was infested with rodents not including the clientele.
