(Written in first tense, by my father.) I was involved in an auto accident in Florida in 2002 that left me quadriplegic for 13-1/2 years, before passing from respiratory failure. As a result of spending too much time in a powered wheelchair, I developed several really bad recurring pressure sores in my butt, big enough to insert a golf ball into (maybe even a mid-size orange). Dr. Sherman, a godly man who always asked to pray with me and my family before surgery, treated those recurring sores with extreme professionalism and compassion for several years, and decreased my pain significantly. I will be watching over and helping to guide him from heaven, as he continues to work his miracles on earth.
