Recieved a letter from Steve Madrid and share med center of dissmissal for unspecified or unknown reasons. I have filed a complaint with the OK Med. Board concerning this issue as well as other issues. Such as lack of physician oversight of medical staff in that office. I would not ask for nor recieve any healthcare from anyone associated with this ssystem.
It’s worth it to drive to Cherokee for medical treatment. As a college student, I go to the Great Salt Plains to get accurate medical treatment and have doctors that listen to me. After waiting 15 minutes the waiting room and 30 minutes to see a doctor (while being the only person there), I get a male nurse who spoke less than 5 minutes to me. He also didn’t care to much to hear what was wrong with me. Let’s just say I had to self diagnose myself because he truly didn’t care.
was told i had a cyst that just dropped from my cervex not to worry about anything. when in reality i have had ovarian cancer i didnt have ANY female parts left they took everything including the uterus and cervex ...soooo can you explain to me how my cervex that is not even in my body anymore had a cyst???
DO. NOT. COME. HERE. The medical staff is so incompetent. I know people whose family members have DIED because the staff here does not know how to do their job properly. I have friends who have come here and been shamed for having a medical emergency. The people here are very unkind. This hospital should not still be up and running. Horrible place.
There billing is beyond screwed up,there staff doesn't follow there own rules, there ok at treating acute problems at best anything beyond that you're wasting your time and money
This hospital has the worst billing system in the United States. I got a bill one year and four months after my Rehab, staff wasn’t bad other than lying to you and telling you the insurance will pay for rehab.
Are you dying? Drive to Enid, cant make it to Enid? Attempt to make it to Cherokee, cant? Call a Veterinarian. The doctors, P.A.s and Nurse practitioners are very nice and professional, even though alot of good ones are ran off, the issue is like all business issues, Management. The people running the front couldn't be more incompetent and rude if they honest to god tried, but with being the only hospital in town, why fix it? So I stand behind my previous statement. If you HAVE to go here make sure its Truely a have to.
Hands down the best staff ever from the front desk, Urgent care, E.R., medical floor and Physicians. They have cared for my whole family since moving to Alva in June. Their Pediatrician Dr Burke is so sweet and takes her time to really understand the problem. Dr Scott Burke the physician is just as amazing he sat down and throughly went through all medical records to understand the problems not just "treat them" as I've see other doctors do. Regina is so wonderful, she truly has a passion for her patients and their health it shows. After coming to Share I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you to the amazing staff at Share Medical Center for everything I look forward to seeing them as a patient for many years to come.
Edit: Google "Serotonin Syndrome". They care so much about being profit extraction drug dealers, they don't care if communities get sick. This clinic unfortunately has a lot of unscientific practices, as there's no Computational Neuroscientists in this clinic, so a "mental health" diagnosis is likely not to be helpful to patients that might be struggling. Providers prescribe SSRIs without thoroughly screening patients for traumatic experiences, adding to the "prescription drug problem in America" by overprescription. Please know that, if you are somebody that is struggling, you are not alone, and help exists. Just know that: Help does not exist here in 2021, so open up a new Browser Tab and find somebody that can help.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
