Henry Ramirez's Online Review Report Card

I was seeing Dr. Ramirez for OB care when at my 32 week appointment I was suddenly informed he was dropping all his OB patients due to deliver after the new year. During all 32 weeks I only ever had one appointment with him.

"Combative when questioned" that another user said is absolutely how I would describe Dr. Ramirez! It's a shame, as I love all of his staff. He however is short, rude, impatient, and lacks bedside manner, particularly in delivery. His preference is surgery and cesareans, and he made that very clear during my labor and deliver. He actually CURSED about me not having a cesarean while I was pushing, and I had seen specialists throughout my pregnancy that not only NEVER mentioned a cesarean, but also deemed induction was not necessary. (Which I refused, and it made the Drs angry.) He repeatedly checked his watch during delivery, while rolling his eyes, and even snapped at me "Were you going to have this baby today?!" I hadn't been in the hospital a full two hours yet! On more than one topic, he gave incorrect medical advice that goes directly AGAINST current medical research, AGAINST the AAP and WHO..He got very snippy with me about the birth choices I was making and snapped at me for "using Dr. Google" (again, he said this to me PUSHING) when the choices I made were based on AAP and WHO research. He performed numerous procedures I very expressly, written and verbally, refused to consent to. He lacks either understanding or care in consent and personal autonomy. He puffs up, throws his degree around (again, while going against the advice and direction of others with higher degrees), and fear mongers with incorrect information.

He did a complete hysterectomy on me, I only seen him twice, the second was day of surgery, I liked that he prayed before. 1st visit after, he said there was only one hormone that would work, could I afford it I said no, I was on a fixed income and I teared up, he did no blood work, the pharmacy said there most certainly was one I could afford and she asked about it he said no if it wouldn't pay for the expensive one cancel it. I was hurting some, asked for a couple of pps. He said hateful NO

Dr Rameriz is very caring and personable. On my fisrt visit, he introduced himself and got to know me and my husband before he did anything else. He will talk to you and make sure you understand what he is asking.

Dr. Ramirez is an excellent Doctor! I would recommend him to anyone!!!

By far, the best doctor, I've ever experienced. He saved my life and is such a blessing. Extremely knowledgeable, kind and on point. I was a difficult case and he did a fantastic job on all my surgeries and follow ups. I highly recommend him.

Have visited this doctor several times, and have one surgery with him with a ovary removed. Compared to other doctors in town, he is the best. Kind, friendly, and has a gentle touch.

very caring excellent bed side manner.seems to be full of knowledge and cares to hear what u got to say takes his time to make sure hes covering the reason u are there seeing him. i was very impressed with my visit today compared to previous dr i have seen before i met DR ramirez!! i strongly recommend him to other women seeking OBGYN
