Went to him during pregnancy but only got to see a few times due to office policy of sharing two other providers. Seeing him was a treat. He called on a Sunday to review an ultrasound concern and got us for a same day ultrasound to follow up at next appt. He does not rush you through, but shares his own life with you and connects. I lucked out when I went into labor, as he was on call and delivered my baby. He is relaxed and competent, and this made me very comfortable. He's the best.

Really disappointed in my postpartum care. He left some placenta in me and when I called the nurses were dismissive and said just go to the ER. I checked my chart and they lied in their notes claiming they made an appt for me. Sat in the ER for 4+hrs with an infection

Dr. Melton is amazing, he actually listens to you and you get to have an active roll in your care. His office on the other hand. Long wait times, the staff is so overwhelmed and over booked, they get pretty short with patients. It’s almost impossible to get a call or message back. Unless you have an emergency it’s at least a 3 month wait for an appointment. I hate to leave Dr. Melton’s care but I’ve had enough.

I've been going to Dr. Melton for 14 years now and never had a problem until today. I arrived at my appointment on time. I get to the counter and the lady behind the counter asks about my insurance, to which I stated that I was self pay. She then goes into another room with a sheet and starts adding up stuff before I even got seen. So I was surprised when she told me I couldn't get seen without paying first. In 14 years I have NEVER owed Dr. Melton money, nor have I ever been asked to pay upfront. So my Husband who was out waiting in the parking lot had to bring cash from the gas station down the road. In the time it took me to go downstairs to get the money and go back up she tells me I was out of the window of time and they had to cancel my appointment! All the time she was taking adding totals could have waited until I was being seen. And should not have been used in "my window of time" If I would have been seen like I normally do and pay at the END of my visit none of this would have happened. My husband was waiting on my call to tell him I was in before him and my daughter ran errands and would have picked up the cash like we have been doing for the past 14 years. I had been waiting on this appointment for 4 months!

Great bed side manners. I had to have an emergency surgery and he took care of me and understood everything I was going through and listened to my problems. I had a very clean cut.

He is an idiot. When he induced labor with my son, he left me in HARD labor for 18 hours. When my sons heart rate started fluctuating, he cane in the room and had them nerve to ask my husband and me what the problem was. On top of that, he put me on the wrong birthcobtrol AFTER I told him it has too much estrogen since I took it before. He is an idiot and shouldn't even have his license

He is an idiot. When I was in labor with my sons, in told Dr. Melton after 8 hours just to do a c-section. The idiot left me in labor for 10 more hours. My sons heart rate starts fluctuating and the nurses page him. When he comes into the delivery room i was in, Dr. Melton had the nerve to ask my husband and me what the problem was. My blood pressure was already high and Dr. Melton made it worse by asking what the problem was when he could clearly see my sons was in distress. After that the idiot put me on a biethcontrol I plainly told him doesn't work for me because it had too much estrogen.

Dr. Melton is so ultra patient. He is consistently thorough with helping you to understand everything. He listens and has been open to every concern I’ve brought up no matter how small. I absolutely love all of his staff. They have really taken such great care of me during this difficult pregnancy. I’m so thankful.

They make your appointment at 4pm and dont see you until 5:45, second time this has happened make sure you have nothing going on for the rest of the day when they make your appointment!!

He was wonderful. He delivered my son and gave me the best care for my episiotomy and walked me through the recovery. He has the best bedside manner I have ever seen and I would highly recommend him.
