I moved from Texas and kept going back to my doctor in Texas for over a year and then we moved to ARDMORE from Pauls Valley and someone recommended Stephen Watkins and I made an appointment and I really liked him but I still felt guilty seeing him whenever I had seen my doctor Olsen in Richardson Texas for 20 years. I finally moved all my records over to Dr. Watkins and I’ve been seeing him now for two years and I turned 65 and I had to choose a Medicare or Medicare advantage plan, and the Medicare advantage plan global health for Carter county Dr. Watkins and his group do not take this insurance because of all the referral paperwork involved, so they chose not to take global health, Carter county is one of 26 counties in Oklahoma that take our provide global health Medicare advantage plan to their clients and that’s really important to have great doctors so I have to now switch over to the Mercy system and I have Dr. Zimmerman. Dr Watkins himself is great. The two receptionist he has in there are the reason I won't be coming back to this office. Neither one of them greeted me both acted like they were in a bad mood and had zero interest in helping me work through a problem with my flex card that I have directly for co-pays and things of that matter. They wouldn't even swipe it a 2nd time. Planning around my day for this drs visit and making the trip to town for that ruined my day.

Extremely knowledgeable, kind, humble, takes time to thoroughly understand issues and/or explain treatments, clearly stays on top of medical issues, research and trends, and genuinely seems to care. I’ve had some legit medical issues over the last five years, and all of his diagnoses have been spot-on. The man’s a rockstar in my book.

Great all around doctors office. I really like Dr. Watkins & it's wonderful to be able to get in at the last minute to see the PA when I am sick. I highly recommend them!

STAY AWAY. Called as a new patient with high blood pressure to schedule apt. Staff is rude, argumentative and mad at the world. Not to mention they are scammers. Told me I have to re-do my bloodwork at their IN HOUSE LAB before they would see me, even tho I had just done bloodwork a month prior and they had the results in my chart. I have good insurance and they saw something they could bill for. I hate Doctors like this. They’re what’s ruining the medical profession.

Kelly at the front desk is argumentive and lazy. She has given my wife hell since day one. Should be thankful still employed there. She has no business in a public setting. Lost one patient today. I'm sure I can make more leave.

Dr Watkins all ways caring has taken very good care of me and my family gets me in promptly never having to wait more than a couple of days most of the time get me in same day him and his PA give the best care I would recommend his office to my family and all of the people in the Ardmore area
