List of Valerie Nicole Jolly's Reviews
I started feeling really sick around March of this year. I had been losing weight rapidly, couldn’t eat without feeling sick. I finally went to the Ardmore Er where they admitted me for five days and a traveling surgeon ended up taking out my appendix. Needless to say that wasn’t the problem. The surgeon told me to follow up with Dr Jolly. From day one I could tell that she was concerned by how much weight I had lost. Dr jolly set me up with extensive blood work, ultrasound and a hide a scan. After the scan I was called to come see her early the next morning to follow up on the results. Dr jolly said that my gallbladder was not working and needed to come out but she also wanted to get me scheduled for a pet scan. I’m so happy she takes the time to investigate why my health was declining. Dr jolly also had me set up for a colonoscopy and upper GI which proved there was a spot on my colon. I will be having more surgery soon but i am so thankful for the care and concern that she has.
The first visit was scary! I’ve went thru countless doctors er visits for over 2 years dealing with the pain and being sick with a gallstone! Jolly listened to me and was there showed me and did what needed to be done! Surgery day went smoothly her bedside manner was amazing after surgery she was there with all the information for me and my support system! This was only my second surgery my whole life and I couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon
My experiences with Dr. Jolly have always been prompt and informative. She has always given me excellent care. She is a very compassionate and dedicated surgeon. She is a much needed and valuable asset to the Ardmore Mercy Hospital surgical department.
Great surgeon! Super friendly and and overall very thoughtful person
I love Dr. Jolly and her team. She takes the time to listen and answer all your concerns. Thank you.
Dr. Jolly is very compassionate and meticulous. I felt like she explained everything and was extremely thorough. Highly recommend her!
She and staff are so nice...great bedside manner
Dr Jolly removed my gallbladder and did a hernia repair on me. She took great care of me before, during and after my surgery. She was attentive and listened to my concerns. She is a great surgeon! I would absolutely let her do surgery on me again!
Arrogant and lacks compassion! I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone! She was called in to place a feeding tube in my husband who has terminal cancer. She clearly didn’t know much about our case and proceeded with an attitude. She informed us she was only there because she had been asked to place a tube for a family who refused to leave without one. There was no truth in that. His feeding tube had come out and it is his only source of nutrition. We just needed a feeding tube placed for his ongoing nutrition. She acted as if we were making a request that was out of line. Bedside manner is an issue. From what I’ve read, we aren’t the first to experience this. You can buy an education but you cant buy compassion.
She doesn't listen to her patients. I had my gallbladder removed and felt like something was wrong. I kept calling and going to the hospital telling the office something was wrong with me. I spent 4 days in the hospital after telling her I thought I had a bile leak, she finally listened to me and I was right. I will never let her touch me again. I am in pain everyday from my surgery experience when before I was not.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
