I want to give Dr. Elena a 5 because she is such an excellent doctor, but her receptionist named Kim, is just downright mean, and rude. She is a sourpuss, is always in a bad mood, and always ready to argue. She is also incompetent. Many times I have had trouble getting my prescriptions because of her. Dr Elena is great however some of her staff are less than poor. Receptionist Carly to be specific over talks and transfers not listening to ur problem. In this profession having a listening ear is key. It can save a life!!!!

This doctor and her staff will have you waiting in her lobby for an hour to 2 hours she takes no consideration for people who have post-traumatic stress who cannot sit certain places for 5 minutes, especially not 2 hours. Like the only other commenter said, it is a very long wait and people with PTSD don't tend to like to wait in the lobby for 2 hours. Great doctor as far as medically knowing what she's doing but as far as considering the patient's feelings and conditions and discriminating against disabilities that's a whole other story. The group facility she works in is very unprofessional and does not know how to schedule people in Diagnostic Group Lumberton Texas. You cannot see 3 to 5 people at one time. The average wait in her office is 1 to 2 hours very unprofessional. Very painful and very insulting.

Although the wait to see her time was LONG, once I met her I quickly forgot the LONG wait to see this fantastic, caring, knowledgable doctor. I was IMPRESSED and being a retired nurse, that is something HARD to earn from me.

Dr.Elena is compassionate and caring. She has helped me solve my Endocrinology issues that I have been having for over 4 years and that specialist in Beaumont just ignored or treated very conservatively. As a new patient, she has addressed my health needs with urgency and getting my health in line! I'm so thankful for her talent, time, and expertise.

I suffered from severe pain in my side Dr.Elana kept seeing me and doing everything she could and finally fixed the problem, she is a very smart and compassionate Doctor and I would recommend her to anyone, I’m feeling better than I have in years , she never gave up and never stopped trying and checked on me , I’m very grateful to her and her staff!

The staff and Dr. Elena have poor bedside manner, and do not advocate for the patient’s best interest. If you want a good quality Primary care physician, steer clear of the practice.
