This doctor placed a biliary stent in my dad. He had them come get him from his room at 10 am in the morning and placed him in a holding room until after 4:00. He was in the OR for more than 2 hours. When the procedure was done, Dr. Quarfordt walked past the waiting room and totally ignored us, went into another room, came out 15 minutes later and walked past the waiting room again looked in the window and kept walking. My mother waived him down! He came back and opened the door just enough to stick his head in and gave us a thumbs up and said oh I’m done. My dad was in Septic shock an hour later. He opted to do this procedure less than 24 hours after another procedure done to put a stent in to open up the duodenum that was blocked and keeping food from entering into the stomach. The doctor that did that procedure recommended that the second one not be for at least 48 hours. But Dr Quarfordt insisted on doing it anyway. He also kept us in the waiting room and never contacted us to tell us dad was being put on a respirator and sent up to the ICU! We had to get a nurse to call down and ask! Very poor professionalism in my opinion!
