Just spent 5 hours in the ER with chest pains for 2 people who came in and waited for an hour to be seen... one being someone with a foot injury. After questioning it I'm told I came in with a headache which was only ONE symtom. I'd only go there in an emergency if you want to plan a funeral also

I do not recommend this emergency room in good faith for treating COVID-19 patients. The staff is completely un-organized and they also do not seem to talk to one another.I took my mother to this ER due to COVID-19 complications. Once her visit had concluded they gave her paperwork and told her to come back the next morning for an Antibody infusion. They even told her that she could drive herself. Which was the first irresponsible thing that this ER did.When I got her up to take her to the ER for her infusion she could barely walk and was barely coherent. We managed to get her to the emergency room for her appointment. They informed us that they had no record of her visit, which was the day before, and that she would need to come back another day. Can you imagine what could have happened if she had driven herself!After some intense arguing, and I did bring the paperwork that was given to her the day before, they finally took her back into their dungeon and performed the procedure after making us wait for several hours.

This place is a joke! I took my son to the ER bc he was cutting himself. He had deep cuts that were bleeding pretty bad and we had to make them do something for him. They at first told us if we wanted to get him help we need to find a place on our own and take him there ourselves but after researching that is not how things are supposed to happen if a patient is suicidal. They are supposed to admit him and monitor him until a bed is found for him at a safe facility. They wanted to send him right back home with no help. On top of that one of the nurses tried to kick me out of his room. My son needed me 😭 and she wanted me away from him. It blows my mind how this place is still oparating. They are cold heartless people that will let you die. STAY AWAY!! If there is anyway you can go to another hospital do it!! Please please stay away from Grady memorial ER!
