Hillcrest Hospital Cushing's Online Review Report Card

I recently spent a few days as a patient in Hillcrest Hospital Cushing. One of the best things about my experience was knowing the people that were taking care of me. I work there and the reason I work there is because of this. I get to take care of people I know and love. I received excellent care. Everyone from ER to radiology to lab to respiratory to the doctor and nurses and techs that took care of me provided excellent care. They did this because that’s who they are. I see it on a daily basis and the patient care that they give. You cannot get better care anywhere!!!!!! I'm very disappointed with the service my daughter received last night. She came into the ER at 6:30pm and sat for hours in pain after asking for something to help her. They ran a few test and being they couldn't find anything continued to let her be in pain. I understand being under staffed during these times, but leaving someone in a room for hours at a time is unacceptable. She finally told staff she was leaving if there was nothing they could do. She can be in pain at home. Left hospital at 1:30am. I'm a very upset mamma.I'm very disappointed with the service my daughter received last night. This place literally saved my life today! Nurses James and Chelsea were amazing! They both were kind, professional and handled my emergency with ease and made me feel confident that I was in good hands! Dr. Chapman was nice but wish he would have went over labs with me before discharge. My overall experience with them was great! Your night nurse tonight was absolutely dreadful, rude and completely lacked compassion. I was shocked by how little concern was shown to my loved one and how much more concern was shown to her food delivery. Unacceptable

Staff wasn’t friendly at all I waited 5 hours just to be seen. Dr wasn’t professional at all & don’t know how to talk to nobody. This hospital deserves no stars.

Don't go to Cushing hospital! This hospital is a joke!I was life flighted to tulsa from respiratory failure,I got my medical records from that visit and they lied through their teeth! They stated they sent my personal belongings with the helicopter and that wasn't true. They also stated that I signed paper work and understood what was going on. How is that if I was unresponsive? They also stated in the paper work they notified my family and that's also NOT TRUE. My family had to call around and figure out where I was. They WILL NOT take you seriously! Most of the staff are rude especially in the emergency room. Also in 2019 I had a severe reaction to a medication,I couldn't breathe and my skin was turning purple and blue. The emergency room doctor there didn't even touch me! He stood at a distance looking at my skin and didn't say much to me and then walks out of the room. I asked him to do blood work and he ask me "for what?" I am never going back to that hospital again. Horrible service and uneducated doctors and staff. Why isn't 0 an option? I would give a 0 rating!Don't go to Cushing hospital! I wish I could rate 0 stars but here I go. Waited over three hours on getting my daughter seen. And for her age we were concerned for her having a infection and Cushing ER did not take us seriously. The nurses were hateful.. the front desk lady was okay. And the reason why I say hateful because there was a man that came in stating he can not breathe and he has COPD. THEY DID NOTHING and kept asking him questions when he cant even breathe to answer them.. After they FINALLY brought a wheel chair the nurses came out with rude attitudes and just very unprofessional. If you plan on going Cushing ER good luck.

Took my 6 month old child in for respiratory care. Walked in, the front desk lady was nice. Got to the back and BOTH nurses and the Dr were not pleasant! They had rude attitudes, and not to mention I felt my son was very rushed! Needless to say, we will be making another trip to another facility because I cannot trust those attitudes or those fast assumptions with the care of my six month old child!
