In October 2012 I was Stacie Elfrink’s patient. I came to her in my second pregnancy after having experienced a first trimester miscarriage with my first pregnancy. Naturally I had a lot of anxiety coming into a new pregnancy. She made me feel very comforted as she shared that she had a personal understanding of my fears and anxiety. At this time Stacie was very pregnant herself. In my second trimester I began to experience painful and frequent cramping. I brought this to her multiple times in a short period of time. I was gaslit into believing that it was paranoia due to my past miscarriage. She recommended medical intervention for the paranoia. But she never further investigated my cramping. I wish I had sought a second opinion. Something I’ll carry for the rest of my life. Not long after this I sneezed and my water broke. The next morning I delivered my son at DRH. He was stillborn. After this I did go on to deliver two little girls but not without a prophylactic cerclage, 17P, and amazing MFMs. It has been 9 years. I dunno if she ever thinks about this or not. I still remember it like it was yesterday. I still fall asleep with an urn of ashes on my nightstand. But my hope is that she learned from my experience to take her patients more seriously. I hope that she learned to listen to their concerns about their own bodies. I hope that she learned to explore everything even if she thinks it’s paranoia. Most of all I hope that no other patient of hers has ever had to experience the same pain because of her neglect.

I have hoped around from doctor to doctor for years with complications with my health. I've been given the run around and nobody would take me seriously until I met Dr Tovar. He is fantastic and gets to the bottom of things fast. I highly recommend.

This office is not in any hurry, they drag their feet. I've called 2 days in a roll trying to get an appointment and I still haven't heard anything! I also let them know of all my complications and that it is urgent that I'm seen asap.. still nothing. So I called a Dr in lawton and they unlike Duncan will get back with you in the same day you called. Much more convenient than Duncan hospital.
