List of Tom Ewing's Reviews
Dr Ewing is a highly competent doctor. He is knowledgeable, explains everything well, and exhibits a caring manner. I recommend him highly.
Very rude to my mother when she broke her shoulder: He would also make her wait for three hours in his office. We would sit in the rooms and listen to him shoot the breeze with staff and other patients about landscaping and trips. He would finally see my mother and he was very short with her and rushed her. If she asked questions, he would belittle her. I would never recommend him. There are plenty of nice doctors out there, he is not one of them.
Although I'm sure he is a skilled surgeon, his arrogance and bullheadedness completely discount that. He completely ignored increasing pain and other indications of infection, even chastised me like a child for complaining, and I almost lost my foot. Thank goodness I finally consulted another surgeon.
I guess his skill as a surgeon are very good and he has done 3 surgeries on me with great results. However, his patient skill are inadequate, which border on sarcasm and rudeness. His behavior deteriorated after first surgery, so I won't go back. I have arthritis and need too many surgeries, but there are nicer doctors around. I am very nice person, who didn't deserve to be mistreated.
Dr. Ewing is a wonderful doctor and a very nice person. I have had many surgeries from carpal tunnel to shoulder replacement and am very satisfied with him and his entire office staff.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
