My husband and I met Dr. Raines at OU Med in Edmond. My husband needed an urgent Cholecystectomy. We could not have ask for better care from a surgeon! He was extremely talented and had a great bedside manner. He took excellent care of my husband. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a general surgeon! And in fact am recommending him to a friend whose husband needs surgery!

My husband had to have a port removed after 12 years. Dr. Raines was the most personal,polite, kind, funny Dr. We have ever encountered. He made us feel right at home. Eased our nerves all with a friendly joking and smile! Way to go Dr you have restored our faith in great Drs.! He asked questions about our life in general ! Way to go! You will have a super successful practice with all them people skills!

Not only did he fix my problems, he did it with compassion, empathy, humility, along with his EXCELLENT surgical skills. Because he was part of my healthcare team, I am 100% pain free for the first time in over 2years! You will find NO ONE in the OKC metro area better than Dr. Alex!

My husband had several hernias and all Dr. Raines did was shoved all them in his stomach! Now he is having more problems, So we do not recommend him to anyone!!

I had an emergency appendectomy and Dr. Raines did a great job. Very nice and helpful, explained everything well. Great bedside manner!

Being my first surgery was extremely nerve wracking. I usually have pretty serious issues with panic attacks, but Dr Raines made me comfortable the entire time and the surgery went great. I would definitely go to him again if I needed anything done. Him and his staff were great. Also, I was given plenty of pain medication just in case I needed it, which I didn’t.
