We couldn't be happier with Dr George Salem M.D.! He was so thorough, proactive and comforting; all we can say is AMAZING!! Thank you for caring so much, we truly appreciate it!! Please don't leave Oklahoma!

Office called and rescheduled me for the following day to arrive at 6 am. Said they would get me in early. Waited 2 hours in the waiting room … along with everyone else. Elderly people sitting on the floor or standing because they had nowhere to sit. I never met Dr Salem… he might be a fine doctor. But the staff was rude and dysfunctional. Will never be going back. I was scheduled for a potential life saving screening … and now I have to wait and find a new doc. After going through all the prep for this procedure. The worst medical office experience I’ve ever had.

The worst medical staff experience I’ve ever had. After waiting 2 hours in the waiting room, with elderly persons literally sitting on the floor, I finally gave up and left. Office staff was rude and seemed uncaring. This Doctor may be fine, I never got that far to actually meet him. Office staff called the day before to reschedule me for earlier, then had me wait for 2 hours. This was a critical potential life saving screening and now I have to find someone else and go through all the prep again. I would never go back to this office.

I never got to meet Dr Salem. He may be an excellent doctor. I had a 5:30 am checkin for a colonoscopy. Waited 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that I was there. Then went through a lengthy checkin process, with a thousand questions (every other doctors office I know of does this online, or at least allows paperwork to be completed before the actual appointment). Then waited an hour and a half in a packed waiting room. There was limited seating and many elderly patients had to stand or sit on the floor. Finally got called to go back with a nurse that acted like she was mad to even be there, never said a word, went through the motions of getting my vitals, and was very rude. This after a long night of prep for the procedure, no sleep or food, dehydrated, and sleep deprived. They prescribed my last dose of prep laxative at midnight so was up all night for a 5:30 checkin. So after all this and waiting months for the procedure. Having no confidence in this group, I left.

Dr. Salem (OU in Edmond) by far is the most caring and meticulous doctor we have ever encountered. He thoroughly reviewed my daughter's medical records. I could tell by all of his separate notations and marking of pages. He didn't just flip through them. He went over each and every notation and what it meant in terms of her final diagnosis with us. He saved my daughter a tremendous amount of hardship had we not obtained 2nd opinion from him. I will forever be in utmost gratitude for his care. He personally called to see how she was doing both before and after the appointment.

Takes great care of my crohns disease. Have been in remission for the past year since I started following up with him in clinic. Young with a lot of knowledge.
