Gwendolyn Neel's Online Review Report Card

Absolutely ridiculous, I've been with this office for 3 months before Dr. Mitchell retired, who had been there forever and was back in December of 2021. Since then they had 4 different doctors replacing that position and now the brand new 1 I haven't even got to see yet is leaving and another doctor in that office won't prescribe the medication I need. Noone let me know another Dr was leaving and now I have to go find and wait to see a Dr to get meds when this shouldn't be an issue. They CANT KEEP A DR APPERENTLY, WOULD NOT SUGGUST UNLESS YOU WANT TO JUST BE UP AND LEFT BY MULTIPLE DRS WITH NO WARNING FROM THE PRACTICE.

There was a complication with the X-ray machine that led to us not being able to receive our results immediately, and knowing that our doctor would be out the following week we were prepared for a long stretch of waiting to hear if our baby was okay. However, the doctors coordinated a way for us to receive our results promptly. We cannot express how thankful we are, and this situation proved to us that they are one of a few places who have not lost sight of the desperation that parents feel over their child’s health. Overall, we were very pleased with Dr. Davey and his team!

These people cancelled 4 appointments in a row without telling me, I found out when I showed up for the appointment. 6 months without needed treatment because of this, waiting another 2 to get into a new clinic. The clinic director does not care at all and seems to think the issue is under control.

I only go here out of sheer desperation. I booked an appointment and called to double check the time and date only to find that the woman who took my call never actually put my appointment in. They will tell you you can see other doctors if yours is too booked up, but don’t bother. They refuse to actually do anything once you see them because “they aren’t your regular doctor”. Well when I have to wait 3 months for every appointment does that even matter?? Ridiculous waste of time

The doctors are great but expect long hold times to talk to anyone. I think an hour + hold time is unreasonable.

I have had Dr. Potthoff for all my visits and it's been a few years since I have set up an appointment and when I tried the past month all I get is the office is closed, they denied my online appointment and now I get well your doctor has to approve you to get an appointment. I really never had issues with the staff or Dr. Potthoff but after COVID-19 came along, they don't seem to care at all. It is a bummer to see a family medicine that was not bad at all to being horrible. What a shame.

WORST DR IVE EVER HAD AN EXPERIENCE WITH. Dr. Potthoff was an incredibly terrible Dr. I would advise everyone who reads this review to stear clear. 1st: It was very hard to get a call back for an appointment after actively calling several times to try to set one up. 2nd: Once getting an appointment and going in Dr. Potthoff did not seem concerned or personable at all. Felt like an assembly line and he was just filing us through. Did not actually give us any knowledge or information than we already knew about our sick child. Proceeded to tell us he was due for another yearly shot, gave us a card and sent us on our way. Dr Potthoff if you read this you should seriously consider a career change or grow a heart and actually care about the people you are treating.

Dr. Neel is very kind and compassionate. She has a gentle and calm demeanor that made me feel confident and safe while delivering both of my children.

I never really post any negative reviews, but unfortunately this place was just way to upsetting and no one even remotely cared about their mess up, especially the Doctor. This place was nothing but problems from the start. I never got the paperwork to fill out over the mail that I was told I needed to have (they don’t email anything to you)They reschedule me at least 2x because of their scheduling issues. When I went to my appointment, I ended up having to wait a crazy amount of time because their system was down (which I was understanding about at the time) I went in to establish a new primary care doctor and for labs that were requested by my other doctor out of state to ensure I was healthy and clear for a surgery I am going to have. I was there for an excessive amount of time, I had to get two COVID tests because the new girl realized she used the wrong one the first time. I was sent on my way and told I was going to be contacted no matter what about my results and they would also be mailed to me. I never got a call. I called to try and understand the labs and asked if I had an inflection based on the results I had. She called me back to tell me everything was perfectly fine and I had no infection. Now, two weeks later I wake up to horrible infection with severe pain and a fever that could’ve been avoided if they would have done their job and looked at my labs properly. I called to let them know that this was extremely upsetting since this now could have an impact on My surgery but the doctor called back with the least concerning tone and asked if there was anything else I needed from them. No, I already went to urgent care this morning where they properly looked at my labs that I took in from my last visit to confirm they would’ve definitely treated me with those results.

Dr. Gwendolyn Neel is truly the most amazing OBGYN you could ask for! She’s so compassionate, practical, and supportive. I never felt rushed and I always felt SO cared for by her and the nursing staff which were equally amazing. If you are looking for amazing prenatal care, I 1000% recommend Dr. Neel and her staff.
