List of Kevin Hargrove's Reviews
Dr Hargrove performed a very successful stabilization procedure for my left shoulder in 1998 and it is still going strong. Highly recommend him for your orthopedic needs.
I’m posting this review for my wife. She was referred to Dr Hargrove by her PCP after an MRI showed a “Slap Tear” in her shoulder. She thought her appointment would end up with a scheduled surgery to repair her shoulder but that’s not what happened. I don’t believe this Dr even looked at her MRI because he came in and told her her NECK looked fine. Obviously we weren’t there for her neck. When she started to tell him about her shoulder, he told her he couldn’t raise her pain meds (Which she never asked him to do) and he couldn’t find anything wrong with her. There was an exchange of words between my wife and the Dr which I won’t get into but it seemed very unprofessional. Great initial contact from the nurse but after that it went downhill. Very disappointed when as we left the Dr said “Good luck with your pain meds” inferring she was only after pain meds. WOW is all I can say. ZERO stars if I could
Dr. Hargrove is extremely professional and an excellent surgeon. He repaired my shoulder and the recovery time was brief and the repair has been better than I could have ever expected. He took the time to explain all of my treatment options, and I felt like he was willing to explore several options prior to surgery. He was always available to answer my questions and make sure I was comfortable with the plan of care. I have recommended him to many friends and family members, and all of them have had wonderful experiences with him. It is rarely enjoyable to have to see a surgeon, but Dr. Hargrove makes it comfortable, and I always have felt very confident in his opinions and skill as my surgeon. If I could give ten stars, I would.
Dr. Hargrove performed surgery on several broken bones in my foot. Very professional, great follow up, friendly and helpful staff.
Dr. Hargrove helped make it possible for me to do activities again that otherwise I would have not been able to take on. I have an osteochondal defect in my right knee that caused inflammation and fluid around my right knee cap since high school. The damage caused a piece of my thigh bone to break off which then roamed around my knee cap. Dr. Hargrove was always honest and straightforward with possible outcomes, even with me informing him of my plans to hike the Grand Canyon with my wife. But with his amazing performance and guidance, 6 weeks later I hiked 27 miles Rim to Rim in one day at the Grand Canyon. I currently still hike 2-3 times per week at arcadia for prayer and exercise. Can’t thank this man enough.
Was sent to Dr.Hargrove by my insurance. They took x-rays and when I spoke to him about the issues I was having with my knees and that I’ve had friend witness my kneecaps popping out of place he said “Hmmm I sure would like to meet those friends.” Basically calling me a liar I have always been an active person weather I was in sports or at work lifting heavy parts and walking all the time to chasing around 2 toddlers now. He sent me to get an mri on each knee so I did that they said they’d send him a report, but gave me a CD to give to him at my follow up… So I called to ask them when they wanted to see me next and the lady said she’d put me on hold real quick (but she didn’t) and the girl in the background said “she’s probably not gonna like this answer, but we don’t need to see her.” So then she realized I wasn’t on hold and hung up. So I then got a call back from a male who told me they didn’t need the CD and that I need to do 4-6 weeks of physical therapy… I had already done at home physical therapy for 2 months prior to even seeing him and I’ve had these knee pains since I was a child. They wrote it off as growing pains which fine I understand, but I’m done growing and I’ve been in pain for years I wear braces and they sometimes help, but they don’t fix the issue… I would NEVER recommend seeing Dr.Hargrove to anyone. I’ll do the physical therapy, but I won’t be going back to him once I’m done. He made me feel uncomfortable and invalid.
Dr. Hargrove is the best! I had 3 knee scopes prior to my seeing him for the fourth. It was the easiest surgery recovery that I have ever had.
The place is go when you are broke.
Dr. Hargrove listened to me looked in to all my issues and concerns. He was straightforward and helpful. Also he has a great staff!!
Dr. Hargrove has been outstanding every time I’ve been to him. He has operated on my wife , son, and daughter and has helped me a lot with my ankle and knees. Dr. Hargrove and his staff are always great.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
