I have been going to Dr. Smith for years about my back pain and would never trust another doctor to care for it; I even followed him when he changed practices. It is not often that you find a doctor who actually listens to you, answers your questions, and makes sure that you are comfortable with the treatments suggested by them. I recommend everyone who asks about back surgery to see Dr. Smith.

Dr. Smith was very personable and took the time to answer all my questions. Everyone was very nice; however, of all the people I came in contact with, he was the only person to introduce himself.

Dr. Lance Smith and staff are amazing. If you need a great spine doctor he is your Doctor. I had surgery in July and was up and walking the same day. No more pain!!!

Appt. @ 12:45. Doctor Smith entered room at 1:30. He was in room for 70 seconds. Wife timed him. Seemed rushed. He was nice enough.

I have suffered for at least 6 years with terrible low back and nerve pain. At the age of 32, another doctor had told me I needed a fusion done, but I was terrified to do it being so young. I put it off until I was falling 4-5x a day due to pinched nerves causing me to lose feeling in my legs. I was referred to Dr. Lance Smith by an elderly couple that swore he was the best and I could not go wrong with him. So, I gave him a shot... and oh man, they were right! Where to start? I had surgery in July- followed Dr. orders- and by September, I felt like a whole new person! I have NO PAIN, NO NUMBNESS, NO TINGLING, NO MEDS that I have dealt with for years! He is a miracle worker in my eyes. I only wish I would have found him sooner! I'm writing this review after my 3 month checkup to which everything is great. He and I are both pleased with progress and I'm so happy that I can play with my kids again and not say, "I can't, Mama's back hurts". Also, I'd like to mention that his PA Joseph Hawkins is also great! I have loved being a patient of theirs and would recommend Dr. Smith to anyone!
