List of Matthew Austin's Reviews
I had my first appointment with Dr. Austin today and he is great! Very thorough and patient and he took the time to answer my questions and he didn't try to rush through the appointment. Dr. Austin is also very friendly and approachable and the wait wasn't long at all. I was very pleased!
I guess if you don't need a Dr. He might be a good Dr. 5 er visits and one appointment later I get a letter saying he won't see me as a patient. Such a great example of an Oklahoman.
Excellent as usual. Dr. Mathew Austin is a very good, caring, professional and pleasant physician. He is very knowledgeable and good listener. Thumbs up for him!!
Dr Austin didn’t seem concerned about my health concerns. He acted as if I was over reacting to my symptoms, even though I told him I’m not the type that runs to the dr with every ache/pain; that I knew there was something seriously wrong. I was having trouble walking. He treated me with condescension & would do a few labs & say come back in 3-6 months. I asked him twice to see a neurologist & he acted as if I was ridiculous. Finally he referred me but I could tell he was reluctant & there was no urgency. He told me that I needed to be aware that this could all be psychological. Well now I’ve been diagnosed with ALS. I knew when he told me this could be psychological, I’d be finding a new PCP! What an uncaring doctor. If I could give him zero stars, I would! I only went to him a year. He needs to listen to his video on the Mercy website & try to follow what he says are his mission in being a physician...because his treatment of me was rude, inconsiderate and lacked compassion!
I definitely would highly recommend Dr. Mathew Austin to everyone who needs a very good, caring, professional and pleasant physician. He is a wonderful doctor and a good listener. I love him!
Dr Austin (and Mercy in general) are always very friendly and patient. During the visit, Dr Austin is very professional, very thorough, listens carefully and always explains options (if there are any). He also explains all prescriptions or procedures to be undertaken. I feel lucky to have ended up with Dr. Austin and have absolutely no complaints at all. Note: The Mercy online portal works pretty well once you get used to it. You can even make appointments online. Also provided online is an "After Visit Summary" for every visit you have made. Click on the after summary under "Office Visit" (as opposed to the after visit summary under "Refill") and you will find all current medications, what next steps (if any) are needed - like future visits, lab work, etc.. Also included are all your current stats like blood pressure, weight, BMI, temperature. Cool Stuff!
I have had several appointments with Dr. Austin. He is a good listener and asks the right questions. He took the time to find the cheapest prescription price for me which I really appreciate.
He's real very good doctor.
Steve and I love Dr. Austin. He takes time to listen and he involves us in making our health decisions. And we love our nurse Altesha.
Dr Austin is compassionate, smart, efficient, and nice! Great doc no matter what your age.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
