Stephen Dennis Schlinke's Online Review Report Card

I want to first off say that this was hands down the best experience I ve ever had with a gynecologist.Dr. Schlinke created a very safe and trusting environment which I am very grateful for. He also took the time to truly listen to my concerns, thoroughly explain the causes, and gave me great solutions other than the typical birth control suggestions. I will recommend every woman I know to Dr. Schlinke! I actually cried happy tears on my way home that I had a doctor who listened to me so well.

I absolutely loved him. He has been my gynecologist since I was in my teens. But whoever answers the phone is extremely rude. She treated me terrible when I called and was having problems. She completely blew me and my needs off in April 2022

I am afraid of Dr. However Dr. Schlinke is the best Dr. That I have ever had the pleasure of knowing he is so knowledgeable in his field. He made sure that I understood everything that was going on and all of my opinions. He saved my life and made me feel so safe and comfortable in the process. I would recommend him to anyone in need, he has truly been a blessing in my life. Thank you Dr. Schlinke!

Dr Schlinke is wonderful! He is very calm, which is important, especially during pregnancy as well as delivery. When I arrived at the hospital, all the nurses said things like Dr Schlinke is my favorite , I love Dr Schlinke things like that. That says a lot about him as a person and a doctor. During delivery he was great, he made sure to involve my husband, talk us through the process and was just very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend Dr Schlinke!

After a very stressful experience with a fertility clinic during 2020-2021 I gave up. I didn t click with the specialist. I was referred to Dr. Schlinke by a friend. Based off of my first impression I thought he was the kindest, gentlest and warmest doctor. He was very patient, down to earth, a straight shooter, and he answered all of my questions & more! I was so grateful for his time & to soak up any knowledge he has! I left crying tears of joy because I felt so thankful & relieved to find a doctor that I clicked with! My entire experience at his office was positive from start to finish! I have no doubts I m in good hands with Dr. Schlinke & his staff. Thank you for all of your hard work! I will be back!

I will start by saying Dr Schlinke is an excellent doctor. He has excellent bedside manner. I had a complicated delivery and he was amazing through it and helped me to feel so comfortable. His staff is friendly and I have had a hard time finding another doctor that can compare to him since moving. He s one of a kind, awesome! The problem I had was with the entire mercy system. A test was ordered without my knowledge that was not covered by insurance. I have been calling for 6 months trying to get it figured out and I get the runaround from his office and the mercy customer service line. No one wants to admit fault. Customer service can not direct you to the people you need to talk to. I have yet to speak to anyone who knows anything. I call once weekly and I don t get anywhere. The billing lady in the office says they can do nothing about it and mercy says that I need to talk to to the office. I m at a loss. Basically if you use dr schlinke ask lots of questions and know what is going on. He did get everything taken care of once speaking with him directly .

This guy is a slime ball. If you are a young single mom with soonercare, don't bother. Nine years ago, I chose him to deliver my baby. How convenient was it that he said the particular month I was due, he was out of town a lot. The day I went into labor, of course he didn't show. Then when I went in for my postpartum checkup, he said "Try not to come back if it's not an emergency, because it actually costs me money to see you with soonercare." The audacity.

I needed an IUD placed and had my first one done with no problems with this office. Five years later, I needed a new one so I made an appointment for a removal and replacement. Showed up for the appointment and was handed a prescription for birth control pills (didn't even see the doctor) which I cannot take due to what they do to my blood pressure. When I questioned this, I was told that they couldn't do what I needed because it was against Mercy policy. No one informed me of this change when the appointment was made or when it was confirmed, they waited until I was in the office. I needed the IUD for the hormones that my body doesn't make, not for the birth control aspect, and this doctor wasn't putting my health interests first. The only good thing I can say is that his office manager stepped in, made an appeal for an exception, and I got what I needed. I will never recommend a doctor's office that puts theology ahead of my health, and I now see a doctor who won't do that.

Very knowledgeable, patient and kind. Wonderful in delivering my son. His staff is just as amazing and always professional. So glad I found Dr. Schlinke.

Visit him.. He was careful with my body.. Had good conversation.. Mindful of what i needed to back on track...
