He told me he that it wouldn’t matter if my surgery was needed because he would get paid either way. I was alone and scared because this would have been my first surgery. Thanks to him pushing my surgery off for so long the injury got worse. I never left the office feeling cared for. After complaining about him I’ve heard through other providers that he has had issues like this in the past. Save yourself the time and find a new surgeon now!

He was able to see him in a few days and he was able to quickly diagnose my knee problem. I had a 6 yr old ACL problem that my GP told me was Arthritis. Was very upfront an honest about repair options! Great personal skills!

He never explains anything or answers any questions, except to achieve any emails sent to him via patient portal, without answer. Painkillers are not the answer to everything. Find a better doctor, not recommended to anybody.

He is only interested in performing surgery and has no other options. After surgery, wasn’t even available for post op appt. Very insensitive to patient needs. Months after my surgery there was no change in pain level & mobility so his next recommendation was another surgery. Is not concerned about patients taking too many opioids. Waiting time at his office is excessive. Nurse also insensitive. Will not go back!

I needed shoulder surgery almost 5 years ago. He explained everything from the first time I saw him up to the surgery date. Now every 3-4 months I have to get a shot in my rotator cuff by mark or dr Carnine. They both say even though I still have pain every once I a while they both encourage me saying that we can’t do anything else except shots. I’ve been going on 6 months & haven’t needed one but will probably be calling soon.

Being self employed and getting back to work was a very important factor to me. Dr. Carnine was able to get me up and going in a timely manner after my surgery for my torn meniscus. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Carnine evaluated my fracture and scheduled my surgery 2 days later. His strong confidence and obvious compassion calmed my nervousness. My x-rays postop showed a perfect alignment. My incision is straight and healed very well. Dr. Carnine's staff, from scheduling, reception, x-ray, nursing & PA, were outstanding.
