I have been toTouchstone Edmond twice since I moved from Texas in October 2022. My experience of this week was most discouraging and I hope unique for other patients. I had a shoulder MRI and requested a copy for the orthopedic doctor I was to see five days later. The tech noticed I had had one in 2017, in Texas, and asked if I wished to have both put on the disc. I agreed wholeheartedly. I think she simply forgot because when I got to my appointment with my disc it only had the 2017 MRI, not the additional one from last week. I think this was merely a mistake which does happen. My ortho doc was able to access the records online so make a determination for next steps. However, the radiologist report claimed he had no comparison even though my internal records clearly show the 2017 MRI of the same area at another Touchstone. When I called to ask if Touchstone could resend my report to the radiologist for an update and resend images that included both the old and new MRI scans I was told "you will have to get your doctor's office to do that. We do not authorize anything from a patient". Harsh words for a patient who has hoped that her scans and reports would be clear, accurate and on time. I do accept the authorization process but not the customer service reaction. This is not my experience from Touchstone in Texas at all.
