Great communicator used drawing as a visual to make sure we clearly understood!
Had to go see Dr. Colvert for insurance purposes. I had some blood in my urine and my employer wouldn't let me go back to work until I got looked at. Only took a few days to get a new patient appointment. I got scheduled for a scope procedure 2 days later and got back to work right after that. Turns out I had tiny kidney stone and it was the culprit. Wait time was a little long but no longer than when I see my cardiologist who is also a specialist. Hope to not have to go back but if I do, I will go see Dr Colvert. Staff was great. They were not a network provider for my insurance but explained that to me and it all worked out fine.
Had urolift surgery and was found to have bladder cancer. Dr Colvert removed the tumor then prescribed and administered immuno-therapy treatments. He and his nursing staff have been super. The treatments ae no fun but Doctor Colvert and all nurses did all they could to make the experience as pain-free and comfortable as possible. They're great!
Been seeing Dr. Colvert for the last 5 years. Always good to explain each procedure I've had done and always makes sure i understand everything. Seems to be up on the latest procedure for my prostate problems.
Doctor is very good but I did have to wait for a while in the waiting room. I was seen for stones which is a continued issue for me. He is a great surgeon and made me feel at ease.
overschedule far too many patients, bedside manner sucks
I wrote a very negative, critcal review about James Colvert and now it somehow disappeared. How about that?
Was with my father in law in the hospital and anytime I asked a question he was snippy and rude.
4 visits, avg wait 45 mins. Doc was nice wait was way too long!
Dr. Colvert was treating my 91 year old father, and he had total disregard for his health. After several visits, his condition wasn't better, and he finally had to go to the ER. He was admitted to the hospital, and Dr. Colvert was on call but refused to come to the hospital to do a scope procedure that was scheduled for the next week because it wasn't urgent. My dad died later that night of septic shock. Dr Colvert was a very uncaring doctor.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
