Dr Shami told me I had to have a procedure and there was nothing wrong with me. When he did the procedure, he caused a blood clot in my arm. It led me to have seven strokes, and I was in the hospital for six months. and I am disable for the rest of my life because of him! He’s the worst doctor ever! I wouldn’t recommend him for a dog, especially not in person. Please don’t go to him you will Never be the same!

My first visit involved a very "fast talking" Israeli Dr. I ask him to call me, on each test that was done, and neither he, nor his nurse, ever did. Across the hall, where his tests are performed, was old, poorly lit, front desks personnel were on their iphones, or, androids, what time they weren't having to help incoming patients. I, personally, was ask to leave the reception area, as I was wearing my Chinese mask, but had my mask down, under my nose, so as to breathe, because of my asthma, and a patient took offense at that, and, as they say, "see something, say something," told the staff that I was a Pharmacist, which I am, and that I didn't have my mask covering my nose. At that point, the front desk ask me to either put the mask over my nose, or, I could leave. I chose the latter, as they were very rude! I would not recommend.

Pushes testing not needed. Implies one thing. I find out what he implied is not true. I don't trust him!

Rude staff. Repeated phone calls by my visiting nurse and myself regarding severe medication side effects were never returned. Left permanently damaged by Plavix, needed physical therapy, and not one return phone call. Office is poorly lit, cramped and appears dirty. Lack of privacy at check in and check out and the schedulers are extremely rude and arrogant. He is a good doctor but that environment and the staff are unsuitable.

Staff is rude and arrogant. I had severe side effects to a medication prescribed by Dr. Shamai, and neither he nor his staff would return phone calls from my nurse or myself. I ended up in physical therapy and permanently injured by Plavix. Inattentive, condescending and undertrained staff at every turn, and the office is cramped, dark and dirty. Dr. Shamai is a skilled doctor but the staff and environment are terrible.
