List of Arif Shahzad's Reviews
I wouldn't recommend going here if you don't want a exam, it's very odd seeing a rheumatologist for the first time though a big tv ....? No exams done , no nothing. I did get medication that I wanted to try because I've done my research on them and my conditions. I thought by coming here I'd get a better understanding of my conditions but I was sadly mistaken. Being a hospital, you'd expect to actually see someone in person, not on tv. I wouldn't recommend anyone to see him , the staff though was amazing 😁 I wouldn't recommend going here if you don't want a exam, it's very odd seeing a rheumatologist for the first time though a big tv ....? I wouldn't recommend Dr. Shahzad to anyone. Well, first you would actually have to see him. You will make an appointment only to go in, be put in an exam room with a big screen TV and have a tele-health visit with him. This is the only way he sees patients which is odd for a variety of reasons. 1- rheumatologists need to do physical exams including joint checks, trigger points, nerve exams as well as the bare minimum-listening to your heart/lungs. 2- there's no telling if he is even in state, let alone this clinic. I have a serious autoimmune disorder and if I needed hospitalization, I doubt he would even know since he isn't there and I doubt he has any way to admit to any local hospital. 3- why am I coming into an office just to see him on a TV? I could do that at home but I am guessing he wants to be able to bill my insurance for a full office visit along with my copay. All in all, he's incompetent, arrogant and I felt like I was being scammed. His wait and see approach to my care left much to be desired. I saw him a few times and nothing changed. Save yourself the time and money unless you enjoy talking to a rheumatologist who will never physically see you. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Shahzad to anyone. Dr. Shahzad was very helpful. He took fluid out my knee and now I can walk.
Horrible. I dont know what these people r talking about.. My experience with him was terrible. He didnt even check all of my joints. I have fused ankles from RA and he x-rays them and tell me that they r just fine!!! My mother in law had same experience. I do not recommend him if you have severe disease.
Very caring, listens to my needs, and explains everything well!!
Dr. Shahzad is an excellent doctor. He explains and listens to my concerns. I completely trust his judgment, and I would recommend him.
Finally a doctor I liked. Easy to talk to. Good listener. Makes you feel comfortable and at ease. Worked hard to make me feel better. No more pain constantly. -- K. York

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
