List of Cotton Mark Md's Reviews
Apparently I was "fired" from being a patient for NO reason I can think of. I didn't get any notification of this until I tried to refill my blood pressure medication and the pharmacist stated that Dr. Cotton wouldn't respond back to their inquiries. This is a life sustaining medication for me, NOT some narcotic I was seeking. I ran out of my medication and found out by way of going to the dentist that I was in hypertensive crisis with a BP reading of 177/113. My dentist said those were stroke out numbers. I have respected Dr. Cotton, his health practice, and staff. Have never had an outstanding bill with him and this is how he cares for me after years of being a patient. Health care is only a money making business now. It is no longer about caring about human beings in medical peril. Apparently I was "fired" from being a patient for NO reason I can think of. It's not that he is a bad doctor, he just shouldn't be practicing medicine. It seems the nurse just tell him where to go and what to say, while he seems to be on autopilot. Absolutely no critical thinking from the doctor I once loved and now it seems his solutions are just to ask the nurse, throw a pill or ask if you want him to give up and be sent somewhere else. No, I just want you to go back to being the doctor who cared and owned his career. I don't want a doctor in name and title only, who takes orders and advice from nurses and makes medical decisions after speaking with his clinic manager. Be a doctor, or retire. It's better than the road you are going down now. It's not that he is a bad doctor, he just shouldn't be practicing medicine. Dr. Mark Cotton is one (1) of a very few doctors in Lawton, Ok that still cares about each individual patient to; listen to his patient, conduct a route examination, test and does his research to help patients understand their condition(s). Dr Cotton has been our families’ physician for over twenty -five (25) years.
Amazing Dr. And a good listener who actually cares.
I don't know if it's the staff or if it's above them, but I have never had such a difficult time getting my son's prescription filled. Month 1 fine because I got the script while I was there. Month 2 my son went without meds for a week it took multiple phone calls and was a mess, it was a odd situation so I let it go hoping it was a fluke. Month 3 here we are again. Third phone call right now, was supposed to be ready at pharmacy on Friday. It's Monday afternoon. Was immediately put on hold. Was on hold for 10 min and then hung up on. Called right back, and immediately put on hold again (7 min hold time as I'm typing). My son took his last pill this morning, so here we go again. Not sure where the actual problem lies, but it's not a child's fault and shouldn't have to suffer because this office can't seem to get it together. I won't be trying Month 4. Go See Dr Rezeai Located On Gore Blvd.! Whatever Meds You Need He Will Write Them Out and He Won’t Downgrade Or Talk About You. Very Good Doc and Isn’t Afraid To Write Pain Meds.! Hope This Helped.!
Very bad. Dr Cotton treated us really bad. He is hardly ever in his office. We went to him for approximately 7 years. He put my husband who is a disabled veteran on a medication and refused to give us a script. We went and spoke to the person name Johnathan that is over all doctors at southwestern and then the office manager called us the next day and said Dr Cotton would not be seeing us again and told us we would be getting a letter telling us he would not see us again. Sure enough we got the letter the next day. Now we have no doctor and we are senior citizens. The office manager is so rude and dumb. Don’t know how she got that job. My advise. Don’t go to this doctor or use Southwester hospital. They have no feeling for anyone.
This must have been before he went to hospital because now you are just a number

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
