I called to schedule an appointment they jumped all over me and made me feel stupid and embarrassed. I didn’t even have time to respond. The B word is a kind word for those young girls up front. Don’t waste your time.
One of the best Dr. I've had in the last 15 years . drive from okla city to see him .
Looking for a new provider and a malpractice lawyer. Worst customer service ever from the front office. Give ultimatums but don’t offer the chance to ask questions or speak with a nurse; just short and rude. Avoiding serious issues because of how the staff makes me feel.
Been waiting for 2 hours. Still have an hour and a half drive home. Not impressed
The doctors are good , the front desk and nursing staff is trash. Typical doctors office employees! Rude and entitled. Seems like you’re bothering them to ask questions, quite often getting cutting eyes. I’ve only been there a handful of times and this is the type of treatment I got. It’s unfortunate. I wanted to like it here.
Wish I could give zero stars. Nothing was done at my appointment and no action was taken by your office. No medication was filled, you didn’t look at the bumps on my arm as I specifically request and was one of the primary reasons I scheduled an appointment. Even the paperwork that I needed filled out was not actually complete and was incorrect. You listed that I NEVER have needed time off of work due to my condition even though 6 months ago you literally filled out my FMLA paperwork for the known disease that I have, Lupus. I’ll be reporting you for your unprofessional behavior. For telling my mom that she can google hysterectomy doctors and pick anyone since they are all good - which is not true and completely unprofessional considering she trusted you to refer her to someone reputable. You also advised my mother that the medication that is being prescribed by her psychiatrist is too much and it needs to be changed. In no way, did she visit your office to consult about this nor did she need to be accosted about what another, more qualified medical professional has prescribed for conditions that were never. NEVER. Discussed with you. Additionally for advising my brother who has a known anxiety disorder and depression that he needs to go outside and stop being lazy in regards to these two disorders - again extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. As I stated above, I’ll be reporting you for these reasons and we will no longer be one of your patients. We have a zero tolerance for bigoted-backwards-misogynistic individuals who are SUPPOSEDLY professionals. Your total lack of care taken with our sensitive and unique medical conditions has led us to this. Lastly, this is in no way referring to your PA. She’s not ignorant to the world we live in, unlike you. Wish I could give zero stars. Nothing was done at my appointment and no action was taken by your office. No … More
Dr. DeToit told my 20 yr old son, who has panic attacks that it’s “a sign of a lazy mind” His office filled out FMLA for my 24 yr old son with lupus, because Dr. Simon’s office doesn’t do FMLA. He did correctly last year, but his job requires this yearly. Dr. D wrote “no” he doesn’t require any time off for lupus. And he wrote “defer to rheumatologist” when he is aware Dr. Simon doesn’t fill out anyone’s FMLA, period no exceptions. When I asked for a referral to a gyn dr for hysterectomy consult, he stated “open phone book and pick one, they are all the same” I could go on, but there’s no need, we won’t be going back. Unfortunately, my whole family has been treated poorly and had to seek out a new primary care dr that respects mental illnesses, and doesn’t mind filing FMLA paperwork for someone with such serious disease as lupus. He is Friendly. He talks to you, makes sure you know what to expect.
I’m writing this review in hopes that Dr. Du Toit will be able to get some insight into his staff in regards to new patients. I just called to book an appointment for our daughter. We are cash pay patients as we use Christian Healthcare Ministries as our insurance. The staff member who answered the phone was less than helpful and when I asked who they use for labs (so I can call to negotiate cost with the lab before coming in) she became down right rude. She informed me that they don’t do labs and that she has no idea who he would send me to. She then said they send their labs to DLO in their office. So I said, so there is a lab in your office? And she very rudely informed me that there was no lab in their office. So I asked her who she was mentioning when she said DLO and she said they were in their building. I started to ask another question but I stopped and just told her that we would prefer to work with someone who wants to work with us and that this wouldn’t be a good fit. Again she was rude so I chose just to hang up and seek another doctor. From what I have heard of Dr. Dutoit, I doubt he reflects this same kind of attitude. A rude staff isn’t worth tolerating to see any doctor. So while Dr. Dutoit came highly recommended, his staff has influenced me to seek a different practice all together. I have been waiting on them to send a pre-authorization for a prescription for 7 weeks. I have called the office over 15 times and every time, get nowhere.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
