List of Francis PETER Armendariz's Reviews
Worst psychiatrist I’ve been to, literally put me on medication that caused more issues for me in the long run. Very rude and doesn’t like to hear other peoples opinions on their own health.
He is the best psychiatrist that I have ever Met in my entire life! Now I’m just waiting till he takes Medicaid again, so that I can go back to to see a Doctor that sincerely cares about his patients!
This is Holly Lees husband leaving this review. I had an appointment at 1000. He has only been open less than 2 hours and he is OVER and hour behind already. You I wait forever to see him and then your treated like this. Dr. Trabovic is MUCH BETTER doctor. Our daughter used to see this doctor and we had to switch because he didn’t help or even talk to my daughter but 5 minutes. If I could leave less than a 1 star I would. I hope this helps.
Dr. Armendariz was so helpful. During our session he was very informative. Answered any questions that I wasn't sure of. Very polite and professional.
The staff are very unprofessional and very rude. Im very disappointed in our visit. We were told to find another doctor and that we are looking for free health care after paying them $150.00 cash for a 5 minute doctor visit. We just stood there quietly while Verna, the receptionist yelled in our face for no reason. We did nothing wrong nor said anything wrong. She said this is her house and her rules. You do not ever treat patients in this manner. I can't believe the doctor allows this behavior
This office and Dr. Armendariz is horrible!!!!! I will never use this office again. Staff is rude, he is always late and makes excuses for it. Doesn't really sit with you and talk to you about what is going on, just quick to change meds and give more meds. The office staff is just a bad as the Dr is.. I will not ever use this office again or recommend this office to anyone.
he is a spanish man that does not no medicine. i had to go to emergncy room. the dr's at the emergency room said thy know bout hiim and not to go back. he been in trubl b4. he at lawtoncka councling center. beware.
Dr. Armendariz treated both myself and my 10 year old son and was the best psych Dr I have had in my years of mental health care, not to mention the first and only Dr that was willing to treat younger children. The only reason why I am not under his care now is bc we moved out of state. He had a no nonsense approach to treatment, more of a traditional psychotherapy. Very well educated and well versed in all aspects of his field. We loved him!
I have been a patient of Dr. Armendariz since 2009. I've only stayed with this doctor because mental healthcare in Lawton, Oklahoma isn't stellar, period, and I didn't want to g go through the hassle of changing doctors only to find that the next doctor was the same, or worse, than Dr.A. Since 2009: Dr. A. changes location and office staff as frequently asl i ( two or more times per year one time he changed locations between two of my appointments and my only notification was the "we've moved sign on his old office door!) He starts a lot of bright, helpful services only to abandon them (like his website, defunct since 2011.) Wait times in his office run on the longer side. Average wait time for me has been 30 minutes, but there have been several occasions that I've had to wait from one to two hours. Each time I have an appointment, it is either rushed or "instructional" (at which times Dr.A. likes to pontificate on his vast knowledge and experience in the latest trends in psychiatry.) He often uses his cell phone during visits (texting and talking without excusing himself from the room.) I've had MANY cancelled appointments in the past four years, some cancellations coming as late as while I'm in the middle of driving to my appointment. This has caused issues with medication refills, and more than once I have been stuck without a refill for my prescriptions due to Dr. A's cancellations. There is no emergency backup plan for these instances, I've had to suffer setbacks because I simply have to wait for him to return to work to get a refill. I have NEVERA. had a psychiatrist who complained to me about his personal life and office staff before Dr. A, but it is a regular occurrence with him. Frankly, I can't wait to move from SW Oklahoma and find a new doctor.
My son has been going to Dr. A since he was about 5yrs old. He is now 12. Dr. A has been great. Some of the staff on the other hand can learn how to be professional and not get argumentative with patients parents, and be a little more respectful. Dr. A has helped my son so much. He now is getting all A's and on the honor roll. It took some time to find the right medication to help but Dr. A finally did... I would not change Dr.'s for the world... Dr. Armendariz is AWESOME at what he does!!! Thanks a bunch Dr. A

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
