She delivered both of my babies via C section. I had a wonderful experience with her and her listening to my concerns and her making sure they are taken care of. If I have another baby, I will use her again.

She's truly amazing. After I had my oldest in 2010, I got Melissa in 2012 and have had her for my other 3 pregnancies + 2 miscarriages. She will listen to you about any questions/concerns you may have. She takes her time with you and does things right. She cares about how you feel and what's going on. I had a baby 2013, another 2014, miscarriage 2017, miscarriage 2018, then finally our rainbow 2019 and she was literally every step of the way. She took every precaution was super cautious and did many ultrasounds & betas just to make sure our rainbow was safe and still alive. A year later in 2020 she is the one who did my Bilateral Salpingectomy. It went so smoothly I went home literally right after I woke up. Highly recommend! She's truly amazing. Dr Goodwin delivered my first baby and is now overseeing my second pregnancy and hopefully delivering. She is always very professional and takes the time to genuinely listen to my concerns and give me precise answers. She has been very thoughtful and accommodating of personal things going on in my own life as well. Hands down, I think she is the best. Her nurse Jaime is also really awesome!!! Quick to listen to understand. Not quick to jump at doing something until thoroughly investigated and considered. Asks lots of questions. Friendly, gives her undivided attention when you are directly in her care, even if that means being a bit behind at times, but seems to give that same care to all patients which is what I would hope we would all want. My husband and I are both physicians and due to my cancer diagnosis I cannot have children. We have a surrogate currently 13 weeks pregnant, that was scheduled to see Dr Goodwin today. We were told that we were not able to phone into the appointments bc our questions would “back her up” and she doesn’t have the time to potentially answer any questions we might have. As a breast cancer surgeon myself, this is completely unacceptable!

Dr. Goodwin is patient, considerate, and thorough when I have seen her. She inherited me as a patient when my previous doctor, (Orjuela) passed away unexpectedly. I can't imagine how overwhelming that time must have been for their office! She and the other doctors stepped up and took on the patients that would have to find another doctor. Around the same time, they had another doctor retire. The wait was super long, yes, but Dr. Goodwin sat and answered all my questions and addressed any concerns that I had. Since that time, I have been back and the wait wasn't nearly as long. I've been nothing but happy as a patient of hers.

She jumped up from removing my placenta and slammed and locked the door when my mom tried to reenter after delivering my baby and she came running fro. The door And did a softball throw and punched me in the bottom with a fist full of suppositories and whispered I did that so u dont hemorrage and die we are not liable and then exited the room all I could do was cry in agonizing pain

She always makes me feel comfortable and explains everything in detail for us with our first baby. We are now pregnant with our second and will definitely be using her again. She is very kind and caring.
