CCMH: Scott Michener has nice staff and is a nice person... But they misdiagnosed me multiple times until I called a Free over the phone Doctor. The Free over the phone Doctor correctly diagnosed me and told me how to cure my problem which only cost $4. Dr. Scott Michener kept recommending extreme diagnoses, recommending surgery, and recommended I stay on permanent catheters... All of his misdiagnoses cost me thousands and thousands of dollars and he and his staff never found the problem (the free over the phone Doctor found the problem)... Either Dr. Scott Michener was using fake diagnoses to drain me of all my money, or he and his team truly have no idea what they are doing.... Either scenario cost me lots of money, put me in a lot of pain, and is truly worrisome. I would recommend to avoid anything related to Comanche County Memorial Hospital including Dr. SCOTT Michener office. CCMH: Scott Michener has nice staff and is a nice person... Dr. MICHENER AND HIS NURSE WERE GREAT! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
very displeased with communication from Dr. Michener. Nursing staff tlles me one thing and Dr. tells me different.
First visit was told stone was too large to pass but take this medicine and wait two weeks to see if it passes, when lithotripsy procedure was explained to me, I was horrified. I asked about a procedure where something could be inserted through urethra, break up stone and pull it out. Nurse told me NO. There was no procedure. I had the lithotropsy. I came out of procedure with three open wounds on my side, bruised and very sore. Was told everything went well. Two weeks later, going in for post op check up, I had x-rays. Went up stairs for appointment. Once again Dr. in not in office and unavailable for texting. Nurse tells me the stone is still there. Same size. Same place. WHAT!?!? Nurse showed me the x-rays of before and after. Yep, there it is. She says lets wait two weeks and see what happens. No, unacceptable. She says,,, well we can try the lithotropsy again. No, unacceptable. It didn't work the first time why would we think it would work this time. She replied that maybe the first procedure may have softened it up. I was highly upset. She informed me that she would get in touch with the Dr. and someone would call me later. When a nurse called later in the afternoon she once again opted for another lithotripsy procedure. When I firmly rejected this option she said that there was a second option. She explained that they could go up through the urethra, break up the stone and pull it out. WHAT!?!? This was the procedure I asked for in the first visit and was told no.Still had to wait two week for the cystoscopy. When waiting for procedure in my cubicle at hospital, Dr Michener comes in. I asked him why i couldn't get the cystoscoipy the first time, he informed me that the stone was too high in the beginning but has since migrated down far enough that it now can be reached with the laser, and quickly left the room. Wait,, the nurse showed me the x-rays and told me that the stone was in the same place. Which is it.???? Lies. Shame I would very much like to hear back from someone in hospital who oversees such behavior.
Def will not recommend based on the initial contact of his staff manager Jan Griffith. She was completely snippy and rude when inquiring about a referral. She would not allow me to finish a sentence before rudely cutting me off. Her attitude and customer service cost the provider a new patient consult.
dr. michener is the greatest person in mankind!
Was a people person, felt at ease around his staff an with him.
I recently had a procedure done at Dr. Michener's office and my experience was great. From the doctor to the staff, all were very impressive. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who asks.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
