Dr. Nusrat ordered Lab Tests on myself as well as my husband. Our Insurance Carrier (Horizon) needed medical support documentation in order to pay the claims. Horizon tried on multiple attempts to get what was needed from Dr. Nusrat. The office staff was uncooperative with getting Horizon the information that was needed to process the 2 claims. I personally reached-out to the Office Manager who was no more help than the office staff. This went on for several months. I finally reached-out to Dr. Nusrat directly but never received a call or any follow-up. The end result was that my husband and I had to pay $300.00 out of pocket because the claim couldn't be processed. At one point, LabCorp wouldn't perform Lab Services since we had an outstanding Bill for over 6 months. While I understand that Insurance Carriers are not easy to deal with, Dr. Nusrat thought it was best for the patient to be stuck paying the Bill rather than assisting to resolve the matter.

Dr Nusrat was the gastroenterologist who preformed my most recent colonoscopy and EGD. We were most impressed with him. He was extremely easy to talk to. By his questions of my present and past medical history, he gave us the impression that he wanted to provide me the best care possible. He answered all our questions and made us feel very informed and comfortable with the procedures. I definitely will use him again if the need arrises.

Dr. Salmon Nusrat is hands down the best doctor. My daughter is just transitioning from pediatrics to adult doctors over the last couple years. She is a very complicated patient who was a pediatric cancer survivor, now with severe GI issues. He has an excellent bedside manner, and listens to his patients. As a mother, I appreciate the fact we don’t wait months for action. We have traveled to other states in the past for different areas of her care, and we would not hesitate to follow him to any facility if we needed to in order to continue her care.

We went to his office for my recurrent acid reflux issue and the approach and treatment recommended by him worked WONDERS! It's been already couple of months and I haven't had this problem since then. Staff was friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend him!
