The nurses are disrespectful. While everyone who shows up after us which is about 8 to 10 people and goes right in, telling us you will be seen when you get seen. My son is on a ADHD medication, and Dr roan requires that he be seen every 4 weeks. HOWEVER, when I turn in the special paperwork from his teacher and us, the parents... The office has lost it 2 times. I showed up this morning (Monday) at 8am for a scheduled appointment at 8:15, I even received a reminder call on Friday for the appointment. When I got to the clinic they said dr roan was not there that she was on hospital rounds and that my appointment was at 1:30pm. I live an hour away from Lawton. My daughter had been seen here since she was born in 2012. We haven’t had many problems besides long wait times which we put up with because we loved doctor Roan. My daughter was recently dropped due to missed appointments which was 3 since 2013!!!! Over the years Dr. Roan has changed but this was the topper for me

Most the time quick to get in a room but then waiting on dr roan takes a minimum of an hour every single time. Then when you finally see her she makes you feel like you don't know how to care for your kid. Always tells you youre doing something wrong. Her office nurse has been great till this last time. I got tired of waiting so I was leaving and she wanted to get an attitude cause I didnt have time to wait on dr roan when I had other errands to run. Left her after the first year with my first son and thought we'd try again this time with our second but it's not working out. Very very good and VERY thorough,she found the genetic issue with my daughter's health so she's basically saved her life ,when none of the other Dr.s could come any where near that level of capability, she's not always understanding of some of our texoma cultures,but she is ever learning and with all 4 of my kids she's the best! She never acts like she knows it all and researches everything constantly, and SHE CARES , unlike some physicians you can tell she's in this bc she cares about kids not a paycheck.!! Dr. ROAN IS THE BEST PEDS DOCTOR IN TOWN! SHE SAVED MY CHILD'S LIFE 8YRS OLD, BOTH OF MY CHILDREN ATTEND HER OFFICE. DR. ROAN WAS NOT ESTABLISHED NOR WAS HER PRACTICE COMPLETELY OPEN, BUT DR. ROAN TOOK THE TIME TO SEE MY VERY SICK CHILD AT THE TIME. SHE HAD JUST MOVED TO LAWTON. THE PEDS DOCTORS AT CCMH DIDN'T TAKE THE TIME. ALL THEY WERE WORRIED ABOUT WAS WHAT TYPE OF INSURANCE I HAD AT THAT TIME, WHICH DETERMINED THE LEVEL OF CARE YOU RECEIVED. MY CHILD NEARLY DIED! SHE DID IN ONE DAY WHAT THEY HAD NOT TRIED TO DO IN TWO YRS. DR. ROAN IS VERY CARING WITH GREAT BEDSIDE MANNERS. SHE WILL GO ABOVE AND BEYOND HER CALL OF DUTY! IF DR. ROAN THINKS A SECOND OPINION IS NEEDED, SHE WILL NOT HESITATE TO GET A SECOND OPINION, NINE TIMES OUT OF 10 SHE HAS ALWAYS GOTTEN IT CORRECT. Dr roan had very bad bedside manner and was very rude. Did not leave very happy at all.

Our daughter has been seen by Dr. Roan since birth (6 years). Dr. Roan is very patient and thorough and we never feel rushed during our appointment. She answers all of our questions too. We also follow the Dr. Sears delayed vaccine schedule and she is very understanding of that.

Has seen my son since he was 7 weeks old now almost 5 and my 11 year old since she was 6, I trust her with everything she has diagnosed my son when a er couldn't, always recommending her to people and hope to never leave her practice til my kids are grown
