List of Eduardo Adonias De Sousa's Reviews
Dr. De Sousa is what I believe to be one of the best doctors I have ever been to, certainly the best neurologist I have been to. I travel from the Texas panhandle to Moore, OK, to see him. His takes his time, is thorough and explains everything very well. I finally found a great doctor who really knows his stuff related to neuropathy. I highly recommend Dr. De Sousa.
Dr. De Sousa was very thorough, explained everything, and seemed interested in the questions I had. I felt no condescension from him, or dismissal of my concerns. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
I went to this doctor with hope after reading several good reviews. I had been having very intense symptoms with no explanation. If you’ve heard of gaslighting in women’s health (I have seen this a lot in my journey to finding a diagnosis), this was the most extreme example I have of being put down, disregarded, and even laughed at when I was feeling my worst. I explained all my symptoms and Dr. DeSousa said “it sounds like you are listing symptoms you read off WebMD.” I had extremely high blood pressure and was too weak to hold the clipboard when I saw him. He humiliated me in several ways, ultimately coming to the conclusion that all my symptoms were in my head and that I was “just depressed.” This was such a traumatic experience, if I can save one other person from going to him then this review has done its job. Please, please find another neurologist- especially if you are a woman. My visit with him scarred me for life.
Fantastic initial appointment! Very thorough examination. He explained all treatment options including pros and cons. I felt 100% better equipped to make informed decisions regarding my healthcare.
We just had the most informative appointment ever! Dr. De Sousa explained my mother-in-law's MG disease, treatments available, so precisely. He spent almost 2 hours with us! And best of all, he dictated everything as we spoke which then was given in summary form for us to take with us. I was just overwhelmed with the time he spent with us!!!
He was very nice and listened so well, never felt rushed . Finding a dr that truly listens is a true blessing these days.
Dr. DeSousa is an amazing doctor. He is the most educated, intelligent soul. He has helped me manage my small fiber neuropathy and do the appropriate testing. Do not hesitate to see him. I've been to the Mayo Clinic and I can tell you that he is better than any of the doctors there and that is saying a lot. His staff is exceptional. I've never been forced to leave a voice mail---you get a live person every time which is so rare these days. I don't know where I'd be without him. Highly recommend!
Dr. DeSousa is such a wonderful man. I did not feel rushed during my appointment. He was so thorough with the exam. I do think that he will find a conclusion to my symptoms. If you are a new patient it may take awhile to get an appointment but he is worth the wait.
I saw Dr. De Sousa because of numbness, weakness, in my feet and legs. I told him about all of symptoms and problems. Dr. De Sousa asked me a lot of questions about my health and what I had already had done. He got my records and then ordered a biopsy which came back normal. Then he ordered a special type of biopsy which came back positive for "small fiber neuropathy." So after many years of searching I finally found a dr. who knew how to look to the right area for the answer to my problem.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
