There's two sides to evert story. I won't pretend I was at fault. That being said.the young PA needs to understand that at 59, medical issues I've DEALT along with many very knowledgeable Dr's in many fields, have given me insight and taught my how to listen and understand my body and challenges I face. My job is to listen. The PA may very well understand books an procedures, but knows nothing about each unique medical history, or in my case has no interest. I did not explain my individual problems. Because Ihe showed mo interest. I wrongly out of habit washed my hands during my regular drug screen. This voided my test. Attempt 2 is simply couldn't fill enough. After a stubborn discussion on my part I was allowed 1 more try. Even though it's highly irregular exception. I had no drugs in my system. I chose and insisted I got a completed test That day because the PA marked my test as a failure. He could have used words like incomplete with an explanation. My anger and frustration wasn't aimed at the necessary protocol. But toward the young man's inability to include the history, my co-operation over the past history or even comparing it to recent blood work over my years as a patient with now history. I spent a large portion of my day trying to control pain and swelling of my freshly broken leg. Short wait time, great staff that genuinely care about their patients, and the variety of services offered are some of the reasons I've been going to Classen Family Medical Center for years. You can get X Ray's, lab work, physicals, and anything else you need. The urgent care next door for after hours care is also a game changer. I will never go anywhere else.

PA Jonathan Smith is outstanding. He's very knowledgeable and a good listener. Very genuine and down to earth. Easy to talk to. I am delighted to have him as my primary care physician.

I had a new provider this visit, and I can say I hope he stays my provider with Classen Family Medicine! He was attentive and educational while helping me understand my health needs.

Always responsive. I can use urgent care if last minute. I do appreciate the care from Dr Hall and all other staff.
