List of Alisa Cross's Reviews
Short appointments, 15 minutes max before staff is knocking on the door to alert her that her next patient is waiting as she boots you out the door. Very unprofessional office, & staff. Zero bedside manners. I also believe it’s illegal/unethical for staff to give any advice or directions on medication without being qualified to do so.. Long wait times. Zero compassion & argumentative when given feedback about the lack of care. I don’t not recommend.
She's a very supportive and friendly doctor. She listens well and is generally concerned for my well-being.
After many years of working with Dr. Cross, I must say she has been absolutely imperative to my health. She is open, kind, empathetic & the epitome of authentic. I highly recommend Alisa and can't imagine that there could be a better doctor suited for what she does in her profession. Dr. Cross has gone out of her way for me on many occasions and is super amazing, for lack of a better word in a sometimes lack of a better world. She's simply the best.
Extremely satisfied patient of Dr. Alisa Cross for 9 years. Upon our first session she was through and asked relevant questions, took notes on the computer, and we established a plan for my future . Dr. Cross knows her information on medications and excels in finding which ones will work best (which is why I came to see her in the first place). The after- hour communication for emergencies is extremely helpful and responds to all of my or Pharmacies messages as soon as she can. 10 years with at least 1 Monthly visit Dr. Cross has 100% remained professional. I have tried to send everything from x-mas gifts to my Wedding invitation, never once accepted with only showing great regretfulness and kind apologies for not accepting due to patient Doctor guidelines. I really do feel so blessed to be a patient of her caliber.
It pains me to write a negative review for a doctor, but I am deeply disappointed at the lack of professionalism and apparent disregard for patients. I've been trying to get an appointment for months now, and I couldn't. No matter what time or day you call, you get an answering service. Calls are never returned. Then when my meds ran out, my pharmacy couldn't reach her even with weeks of calls and faxes sent to both of her offices. I ultimately had to have my primary care doc approve my refill so I didn't start having panic attacks while I searched for a new psychiatrist.I know she's still alive and practicing, because I was able to reach a staff person at her other practice in another state who couldn't get me off the phone fast enough "uh...she's not in till Monday." Listen lady, I am out of meds. I am liable to have panic attacks or get severely depressed. When the staff doesn't give a shit, you have to assume the doctor doesn't either. Good thing my life was not hanging my a thread or anything. Hate to think what this is like for her patients with more serious diagnoses. Just baffling. Cannot recommend her as a doctor to anyone.
She is a wonderful doctor very compassionate and her staff is wonderful.
Worst office experience ever! Staff does not know insurance and extremely rude. I waited 35 minutes to be told there was an issue with my insurance, which they were incorrect on there end, but blamed it on me. I have never felt so dismissed from a doctors office. I do not have much to say about the doctor because never even got in to see her. Not worth it when dealing with such incompetence. Discusted with how I was treated.
Excellent doctor with great communication skills. Did not make me feel like a "test subject," medically speaking, when prescribing medication. Was interested in my history and what had worked in the past. I would recommend Dr to anyone who has a difficult time achieving diagnosis or finding proper treatment.
She is a very well prepared Doctor, and has helped me immensely.
Love her! So caring and understanding, couldn't trade her for nothing!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
