I was impressed with Dr. Srinivasan work. He is a high quality doctor with gold hands. He gave me an opportunity to have a full life, he gave me the ability to walk again. Big thank you to Dr. Srinivasan, I am happy to have had him as my doctor.
Doctor did a good job and good follow up on my knee replacement
I’m a year out from my hip surgery and it’s like it never happened! Dr. Srinivasan is amazingly talented and caring. If you’re hesitating to get your hip replaced-don’t. He can help you find your way back to a better life. And his team is great, too. Peter (his nurse) is also amazing. I highly recommend them.
MY KNEES ARE LIKE NEW-DR. SRINIVASAN IS A WONDERFUL DR.
Have seen him twice. Not impressed. First time he told me I couldn't walk because of my back, wait 3 weeks to get into back surgeon who tells me it's my hip and refers me to a different Dr. Wait 3 weeks to see him. He performs an epidural which doesn't improve, wait 2 weeks for it to work, another week for follow-up, where mri ordered to find out I have a collapse. Referred back to surgeon who says he doesn't know why it happened. Says I need a hip replacement but is that a hernia?? I am overweight, I need to lower my blood sugar and lose weight, so maybe he will help me in a couple months! Other Dr told me he wanted me in a wheelchair. This guy says I can do exercises and walk my dog! For all he knows it's a great dane. Looking for a Dr with better attitude for his patients. You should shouldn't shame them.. i have been unable to walk without a walker for 4 months now. I am just getting worse by the day. Looking for a different Dr
Great provider! Good communicator
Dr. Srinivasan made me feel so confident that choosing knee replacement is going to get me back to a normal life. Looking forward to running again with my grandchildren.
Had two hips replaced. They were three months apart. I had regular activity after one month and back golfing after three months. Very personal an fantastic surgeon.
Doctor Srinivasan performed a "revision" on my right knee replacement, surgery in May of 2015. It became infected (I have no proof he caused the infection or am I claiming he did), in July of 2015. He treated it by opening the knee and draining it, followed by 40 days of IV antibiotics. In September of 2015 I went for a follow-up visit and complained about how I wasn't satisfied how it was healing. He addressed my concerns by stating my age (66) and my knee had 2 major surgeries and I should give it time. I followed up with multiple visits in October 2015 with the same complaints. He said the X-rays looked good and the blood work looked good and we'd keep an eye on it. I again visited him in late November 2015 with the same complaints and he had the same reply, and ordered additional blood tests. The blood tests sowed no infection in my blood stream and I was advised to keep taking my oral antibiotics and see him in 2 months. I was livid because he wasn't listening to the patient's concerns and made another appointment as soon as I could. When I saw him shortly after that I took along my "4 Letter Word" dictionary along and yelled at him. He stated that the only thing left to do was to draw off some knee fluid and have that tested. To which I told him no one was standing in his way for months. The tests came back and showed the white blood count in the fluid was 30,000 ( normal count is about 8) and I had a bad infection....surprise, surprise! I went elsewhere to have additional treatment which involved 2 surgeries; one to install a "spacer" (no weight-bearing for 3 months) and additional IV antibiotics (different than previously), and once the infection was eradicated, an additional surgery to replace the knee prosthetic. I reached out to his medical group to review his treatment; they found is care "was appropriate and within standard care...". Plus they stated that he recommended a 2nd opinion, I don't know who he made that recommendation to, but it wasn't to me. The 2nd surgeon that treated me stated that if I had waited much longer he would've had to amputate the leg! BTW, Dr. Srinivasan's medical group is NorthShore University HealthSystem.
Dr. Srinivasan is very knowledgeable. He explained my condition to me, why it happens and what he could do to correct it. He also explained what I could expect long term from my knee replacement.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
