Angelia Kirkpatrick's Online Review Report Card

I have seen Dr. Kirkpatrick as my vascular doctor at the OKC VAMC for the last 5 years. She is a pleasant, caring, knowledgeable, wonderful doctor. She actually knows me when she sees me, not just familiar with my medical record. When going over procedures, or concerns she is very careful to ensure that I understand the big picture, and the fine details. Dr. Kirkpatrick is careful to address my conditions, and how I will interpret those conditions. She knows that I will research whatever she tells me, so as part of her explanation, she acknowledges that I may find some startling (possibly scary) information or statistics and she proactively addresses those items explaining why they are what they are by putting the information in context. I cannot imagine how Dr. Kirkpatrick could possibly be any better, and I am so thankful that she is available to me through the VA! She is a gem and a precious provider, without a doubt my favorite doctor I have ever had.

I had an appointment today at the OKC VA hospital and while in the doctor's exam room waiting, I could hear Dr. Kirkpatrick talking with a patient about care and treatment. The way she handled, cared for and talked to those people was music to my ears. The couple was old enough to be my parents and I would have 100% wanted Dr. Kirkpatrick to be their doctor. She was very straightforward in talking to me and answered all of my questions and concerns. She went the extra mile for Vets!
