List of Anil Patel's Reviews
Both staff and Dr Patel have been wonderful over the years. I started seeing him in 2005 for double vision and hemifacial spasms. I wouldn't trust anyone else to hold a needle near my eyes. He's thorough and keeps things running on time. Nice man who cares about his patients.
Very disappointed in the way I was treated with dr Patels office. After my 2nd appointment for my IIH I find out I've been taking 500 mg more than he even knew cause his nurse called and told me to from his orders his response was "atleast you cant die from it" After complaining of the meds making me horribly sick and lost 30lbs he tells me I need to lose more weight and . I guess throwing up constantly and nausea is normal! I asked about some questions I have concerning my diagnosis but I was already dialated he "didn't have time for them" cause I wasn't able to even see my phone and well I guess he wasn't going to help me look. I was rechecked this year 2022 and found out I have no signs if IIH. 😞 very disappointing to find out after being so sick I never even needed the medication at all.
I started seeing Dr. Patel in December 2021 for an issue my optometrist flagged. It was a scary time for me, but I found Dr. Patel to be a caring, compassionate and highly communicative healthcare advocate for me as his patient. He never rushed me during appointments, was welcoming of my husband's questions, and throughout the entire experience made sure I felt informed of all of the details. I have continued to see him as part of an ongoing care plan, and I can honestly say I look forward to my appointments with him, oftentimes forgetting I'm there to monitor for a scary health condition as we chat about our recent vacations and our families in between health-related talking points. I can't recommend him enough if you need a specialist in his field of expertise.
I have a condition called pseudo tumor cerebri and I just recently moved to the area from Texas where I was treated for it. Dr Patel briefly saw me said I don’t have it and said here’s a new prescription for glasses have a nice day. Didn’t even go over any of my test results or anything just dismissed me. I do not recommend ever seeing Dr Patel, he wouldn’t even look up the reports I brought with me from previous Dr, he wanted me to tell him what they said. Totally unbelievable! Never been treated so poorly in my life.

Was referred to this doctor by another doctor Who felt I needed to be checked out but dr. Patel did no such thing he shined a light in my eyes told me there was nothing wrong I had 20/20 tell me I was free to go said there was nothing he could do for my stacked Vision because there was nothing wrong I would recommend not going to this place unless you have really good insurance apparently mine wasn't good enough my visit was under 15 minutes and rushed out I don't even want to give him one star
I saw Dr. Patel because I have visual snow; if you're intending to see him for the same reason then I'd go somewhere else. When I saw him he told me there was nothing he could do to help. That was very disappointing but not his fault, I know it's a rare and not well understood condition. However, he was so incredibly rude, dismissive of my concerns, and confident that I could not find help anywhere else that I had not even attempted to manage it through other methods since very recently. I learned that many people have found successful ways to manage their visual snow (through changes in lifestyle, medication, or eyewear) and the same methods have helped me too. Dr. Patel seems well accredited and I'm sure he has the technical knowledge to help a lot of people. But he made the last few years of my life much more difficult than they needed to be and I hope others can avoid my mistake.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
