Beau Michael Hawkins's Online Review Report Card

We just love him and his bed side manner.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hawkins for over 5 years. He doesn't skip a beat. Always kind, caring and most importantly. - knowledgeable. He listens...... and he responds not in a way you want to hear, but what you need to know and the proposed plan for the best approach for your Heart Health. I am sad that he is leaving the OUHSC family, but intend to follow him unto his new journey. He is truly the BEST Cardiologist ever!

Dr Beau Hawkins is very professional and kind, he listens to you! Very rare in doctors these days! I would recommend Dr Hawkins to anyone who needs a cardiologist! He’s awesome! I will continue going to him until my heart stops! Thank you Dr Hawkins and all the people who run his office!!

Dr. Hawkins and his staff are great at providing patient services. This gives you the impression that he is as good as a practitioner/surgeon. Unfortunately for me, he is/was not. The care he displays creates a trust in his abilities that in my opinion (as a doctor in a different discipline) are sub-par. This gives the patient a false sense of confidence. He practices at OU Medical, a teaching hospital, which means that the potential for complications is greater than that at other area hospitals (because residents learn by practicing on real-live people). That said, I don't know how much of my procedure was done by Dr. Hawkins and how much was done by a resident, but I'm dealing with outcomes that have altered my whole disposition. Aside from that, when I told Dr. Hawkins about the resultant issues from the procedure, his reaction was laughter, and then a statement about how many of the same procedure he has done in the past. No true compassion. Sometimes health professionals are better salesmen than they are surgeons. Be wise.

Dr. Hawkins saved my life with CAD surgery. What more can one ask of his physician?

Dr Hawkins is the best, simply the best, did a bare metal stent on my hubby avoiding open heart, saved his life, and diagnosed my moms valve prob. and clot, was able to do stents on her when others couldnt ,,hes just a rockstar in my opinion. I love Dr Hawkins, Ou better hang onto him!

Dr Hawkins saved my husbands life several times and my mothers life, He is our angel of mercy and i am so grateful to him for his expertise and kindness, anyone that is fortunate enough to have him as their cardiologist is in good hands, God bless this man for his good works
