List of Cherian Abraham Karunapuzha's Reviews
It took quite some time to get my first appointment because Dr. K is so busy. The wait was worth it! After 2 years and 3 other neurologist, I have a solid diagnosis and plan. Each one helped along the way, but so happy to be under the care of Dr. K and his team for the rest of my journey.
I LOVE Dr. Karunapuzha. He has been so very helpful and is very kind, caring, and willing to do whatever he could to help me. He has gone above and beyond for me and I cannot thank him and his staff enough.
Answered all of my questions and even solved so many of them. Very grateful for him and his team.
This place doesn't seem to be open. I've been calling everyday multiple times a day for the past month and nobody answers the phone.
My husband has been one of Dr. Karunapuzha's patients since 2018. He has always listened to our concerns, responded thoughtfully, and explained thoroughly. He obviously stays up-to-date with new developments, and treats his patients and care partners with respect.
I know I'm in good hands with Dr k! He takes time, listens and explains well! I'm so happy to have found him!
I have been going to Dr. K a little over a year. While I have been pretty well satisfied with the care , I was very disappointed when it was time for me to have my review with my Prudential insurance that l have had now since 2010. In order for me to maintain my income with them Dr K ‘s office told me that he didn’t feel out paperwork. Two short papers is all plus sign it. I’ve had 3 different ...
he treated my husband for Parkinson's. Prescribing medication was the preferred method of treatment, not seeing the patient or responding to messages, as the doctor's website recommended as the best way to communicate. Three messages went unanswered...then it was too late
Dr. K was the only movement disorder doctor available after I had gotten out of the hospital (in Tulsa) for my rare disease. I went to him for help with my rare condition-instead he had his mind already made up when he came in the room and BEFORE examining me. He told me he had read my records (from over 3 yrs ago) and determined I did not have the rare disease- no exam, no blood tests, nothing. When I asked him to double check the records because they DID agree with the diagnose of a rare disease from the original diagnosis by the MDA Center-he refused and said “I already saw the diagnosis”. I said I have it in writing (but it wasn’t with me) and he absolutely refused to look at the records further to confirm. In addition he trashed the reputation of the neurologist that I had seen at the MDA center and clearly said “well he’s not a movement disorder doctor, I know him and he’s not very good.” Also did not look at my 3 wks stay hospital records 9/2019 Arrogant & unprofessional.
Dr K's treatment has given me back use of my arms and halted the almost daily migraines that were further disabling me. He was very clear about the side effects of the botox treatment, which were mild and unavoidable. He is a compassionate and precise doctor with an impressive knowledge of movement disorders. I wish my dad with Parkinsons could have seen him. I would recommend Dr K to anyone struggling with a neurological movement disorder.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
