List of Christian A Ei Amm's Reviews
My son has been a patient of Dr. El Amm for 18 years. Very satisfied with everything he has done for him.
Dr. El amm is only in the pediatric clinic 1 day per week and often he sets aside that day to only see children with cleft palates. I waited months for this appointment and then waited 1.5 hours after my scheduled appointment to be seen for 5 minutes by Dr. El amm Surgery was scheduled in about a month. The day of my son's surgery, I never saw Dr. El amm. One of his team members met with us briefly before surgery and we never saw a doctor after surgery. We were told by multiple nurses the office would contact us to schedule his follow up for 2 weeks. A nurse called to follow up on my son about 4 days after the surgery and told me to wait a few more days, but if I don't hear from the office, to call. I called and was told it was up to the parent to schedule. The current week, Dr El amm would not be on the pediatric clinic, the following week, he would was only seeing cleft palate patients, so my son now has to wait a month after his procedure to have his follow up. All staff were nice, my son's procedure appears to have gone well, but I do not know why they offer a pediatric clinic to patients other than cleft palate if they offer no more than one day a week.
I thought he was extremely helpful in my understanding of everything cleft related going on with my daughter. I was clueless about it all and he made me feel so much better about the procedure. Sure enough, one procedure and no more to come💜🙏
Dr El Amm and the staff at OU Outpatient were exceptional. From start to finish, every detail was taken care of. They even heated and opened package with antiseptic wipes.
2 surgery's and a half million dollars later my kid still isn't right
He refused to tell me specifics on my surgery or show me photos or drawings of the end result because "everyone is different." He spent only a few minutes with me on my first appt and I would never have seen him on the day of surgery had I not asked. He neglected to put in drains, resulting in a huge loss of blood, and he did not do any follow-up tests after the surgery, meaning I had severe anemia for almost a year before another doctor figured it out. I also have excessive scar tissue. I will never see him again or recommend him to others.
Our daughter 2 year old daughter had a serious cranial condition, and we completely trusted Dr. El Amm with her 2 surgeries. He is great about responding to emails and office calls. I really appreciate the time he takes during appointments. I felt free to ask for further explanations to my questions and he always made our family feel as though he was not in a rush at all during our visit; though I know he had other patients to attend to. He was courteous with us, as parents, and didn't take it personally when we had concerns, like some doctors do. My only "complaint' is that during a 6 day hospital stay, we never saw him. We only saw his resident. I didn't even speak with him after surgery or in the recovery room. We were disappointed that his resident was given the job to communicate with us. I would have liked to have heard more from him post op, but overall, we are please with Dr. El Amm in the office and the work he did in the operating room.
My daughter was kicked in the face by a horse crushing her eye socket. Dr el amm took part of her skull and made her a new one...he did an excellent job! He's always answered all of our questions and listened to any concerns we had!
Very conscientious, professional, takes adequate time to explain procedure and potential outcomes.
Amazing doctor who is exceptional with both his patient and the parents. I would recommend him to anybody seeking craniofacial care. Cannot say enough positive things!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
