A family doctor who really cares.

Terrible very rude

I really respected Dr. Nasr for his insights, diagnosis and care.

Dr. Nasr, as a family physician is wonderful.....he has been my dr. for over 30 yrs. If you have an emergency, he doesn't tell you to go the emergency room. He will see you right away. I honestly trust him more than any dr. I've ever had. The downside is he doesn't accept Medicare.......I've had to cut down my visits because of this. :( I should be receiving some reimbursement from Medicare. Dr. Nasr's office has said they file for me, but I've never had any reimbursement for him from Medicare.

I had the same issues with Dr. Nasr where Medicare is concerned. He states upfront that he is not a provider, so the full amount has to be paid. I understood that, however I called Medicare, and was shocked to learn that he can't charge more than $168.00 as well. I told him they were not reimbursing me for anything, so he told me to call them, which I did.....I was paying much, much more than $168.00, and as said I didn't learn this until I spoke to the agent. It not only bothers me that he was what I thought was an excellent, caring dr., and then find that his primary concern was making much more than he should have, and obviously knew they would not reimburse me, nor have they ever. So, if you're on Medicare, and he charges over $168.00, then it needs to be reported to Medicare. This is not legal. That's what the agent told me.

If you're on Medicare you need to know that he is not a provider, so you are required to pay the full amount to him at the time of service. They state they they file for you, but just a few days ago I checked with Medicare and he has never filed anything for me.....I couldn't believe this as he's been my doctor for a very long time. Medicare informed me he was not allowed to charge me any more than $168.00 MAX. He charged me much more than that, but I don't want to reveal the amount. My blood pressure and heart rate, etc. was not taken. I reiterate, one normal procedure was done for a physical. I want to stay anonymous for obvious reasons.

He is a great Doctor that will listen to you, figures out the problem, fixes the problem to his ability. Been to other DR and he is by far the best.

My mother had been seeing Dr Nasr for over 25 yrs until she had to go to a nursing home. Then he would not fax medications and chewed me out over the phone for asking. Never used him again.

I've been a patient of Dr. Nasr's for 30 yrs. He's a caring, kind family physician, and takes time for everyone! A rare dr. that really cares about his patients. His staff is great, except for Mrs. Nasr who is NOT good with patients! She is a detriment to the rest of his exemplary excellence in medicine. It's unfortunate that one person can make such a big difference.
