List of First Med Urgent Care's Reviews
I have used this urgent care for all of my needs as it is impossible for me to get an appointment in a timely manner for anything spontaneous. Or for annual visits. The primary doctor wait time is 30-45 minute wait time. This facility wait time is 5-10 minutes. They are always professional, listening to me and respecting my explanation and concerns. I prefer them over my arrogant primary care doctor.
The dr went out of her way to treat my illness. Made sure I had a good follow up plans and instructions for what to watch for. I wish the meds wouldn’t have made me forget her name.
Very professional, friendly, responsive and communicative with treatment plan and options.
Very friendly staff that truly want to help and make you feel comfortable
Went for a Covid test to be able to return to work. I showed up as a walk in. She took my info and warned be it would be awhile and you immediately get a text with a link to view your place in line and I headed home and waited when I got to 7th place in line I got a text to head to facility they verify your info and less than an hour later I was being tested. The staff was very nice the place was clean. I understood the wait was going to be a few hours but the process was smooth and i liked not having to wait at the facility for 3 hrs. This will be my choice in the future if i need an urgent care again.
I signed in from my phone and I went in and waited just a few minutes and then the nurse called me back and as I went back into the room it smelled real clean like Lysol.. so yes I would recommend it
Great customer service just overwhelmed with patients.
I came in for a test about a potential sinus or strep throat test. I was the first one in on an early morning and it took 30 minutes for someone to finally get to me. Their staff didn't seem to be certain or accurate on their ability to diagnose what I was going through. Even though they were made aware of what I had was the symptoms of an infection, they seemed doubtful about it. Potentially bored with having to be at work. Not that interested in helping someone. They didn't give me a positive impression. As if their work ethics were no better than a fast food restaurant that wanted to serve customers, push them, and get onto the next customers. If I could give a 0/5. I would.
Absolutely awful! Went in on a Monday for a rapid flu/covid test (I thought I had flu not covid but it was a 2 in 1 test). When the results came back as negative, the doctor pushed to do the pcr covid test stating it was too soon for the rapid to be accurate and I sounded wheezy even though I told her I had asthma. She assured the results would be back in 2 days (Wednesday). The test caused me to be out of work all week because even by Friday the results were not in and they are closed on weekends. During the week when I called to see if the results were in, one of the receptionists said my birthdate was incorrect in the system and corrected it.Later I looked at the paperwork showing my rapid test results and realized my middle initial on the paperwork was also incorrect so who knows if they had me entered as someone else or just have my information so screwed up in their system.Best to say I will not be going back to this clinic.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
