Dr. Karikari is expert in both knowledge and performance. I was facing paralysis and could not hold my head up straight without great pain. Dr. Karikari predicted surgery would take about 8 hours. It was 8 hours and 3 minutes, and afterwards I had a neck with the proper curve and can hold my head up! Paralysis is no longer looming in my future, and the pain is gone. As well as being knowledgeable, Dr. Karikari is also so personable. He took time with me, answered all my questions and seemed genuinely happy for me to be so much improved. I couldn't be happier and would whole-heartedly recommend him to anyone!

Dr Karikari performed a very difficult surgery for me due to the fact that I had 360 surgery one year prior that had gone very wrong. His skill is impressive, and I appreciate his compassion. He is spoken highly of by all the nurses,anesthesiologists, and support staff I encountered. I have recommended him to others who have back issues and need quality care.

IMO, Dr Karikari is the BEST neurosurgeon you will find!! He is brilliant, yet humble, caring & thoughtful. He explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. I have had multiple, difficult issues with my spine. Dr. Karikari is the only neurosurgeon I saw who understood my issues enough to repair them. I feel that he has saved my life! I could NOT recommend him more. He operated on my back when he was at Duke University & I followed him to Mercy in OKC for surgery to repair an injury to my neck. I won't let anyone else touch my spine other than Dr. Karikari. Why would I? I have found the best neurosurgeon out there!

I had to have a very difficult neck surgery. I had one surgeon tell me that there was not a doctor in the United States that could correct my neck. I consulted a Neurosurgeon in OKC to help me. He recommend Dr. Karikari to do the surgery. I am so glad he did my surgery. He explained every detail of the surgery, answered all my questions and explained the after-surgery process to me. While I was in the hospital, he checked on me every morning. He is a very skilled surgeon, compassionate and an overall very nice person to have as your doctor. Dr. Karikari saved my life, if he had not done my surgery my vertebra in my neck would have shut off my spinal column.

Dr. Karikari was very easy to talk to and answered all my questions and explained everything in a manner that was easy to understand. After surgery the follow up appointments he kept a close eye on how the healing was progressing and I am definitely better now than I was before seeing Dr. Karikari
