You will not find a better cardiologist in Oklahoma than Dr. Asbury. I am very familiar with his practice because he treats my two elderly siblings and now myself. Dr. Asbury is that rare physician who takes time to listen carefully to his patients before making his recommendations on how they can achieve optimum health. In my first appt with him I felt as if I was being taught by everyone's favorite professor. He answered all my questions about diet, supplements and medications and he suggested fun ways to get aerobic exercize. He emphacized reducing carbs to prevent Type 2 diabetes since I'm insulin resistent. He brought facts to my attention about nutrition that I didn't know even though I thought I was pretty knowledgeable on the subject. Most impressive to me is his determination to keep my seriously ill sister alive and out of a nursing home. He and her cardiovascular surgeon discussed her options with the entire family and since Dr Asbury knows that my sister and her family have reasons to fear that she would not survive heart surgery, he is using every other tool at his disposal to keep her arteries as open as possible such as stints and the latest medications.

I've been a patient of Dr.Asbury for 4 years...wonderful doctor and awesome staff. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a good heart doctor.

My wife is a patient of Dr Asburg and he has provided outstanding care. His staff is also committed, as he is, to her care. His main office is at Baptist Hospital but he also sees patient's at Canadian Valley Hospital in Yukon on certain days. I recommend him and we think he is brilliant.

I have been under Dr.Asbury's care for a very long time and as far as I am concerned he is the doctor of all doctors. Sometimes it may take a bit to be seen but that is because he takes his time and makes sure people understand what is going on. So I think the wait is well worth it. He and his staff are the best in the business hands down!!!!!!

My wife is a patient of Dr Asburg and he has provided outstanding care. His staff is committed, as he is, to her care and comfort. His main office is at Baptist Hospital but he also sees patients at Canadian Valley Hospital in Yukon, on certain days. His commitment to his patients will push his wait times back as he gets later in the day or he may have patients in crisis which can affect his daily schedule but overall our visits are timely. Overall I think the Intergris admin support is not very good but the integris portal "Integris & Me" will get messages to his office. It's one of the best out there, which is not saying much. Both he and his Nurse Practitioner are brilliant and I recommend him without reservation. I say that with having been exposed to a few other Cardiology. When these "gifts of age" I struggle with require me to see a cardiologist he will be my choice.

Staff there is very nice and polite and dr. Asbury is an excellent heart dr. And I don't mind going to see him. He really keeps up with my heart condition.
